Anyone want to guess the designer?

Lol, I also don't have a lot of designer boutiques nearby, but we do have Louis Vuitton about 10 minutes away. My nearest Chanel is an hour and a half away and Hermès (and everything else) is two hours away. It's good for my wallet that they're not nearby, anyway, lol!

The other bag I loved at Coach was this very unique Gramercy in embossed python. The colors were blue jean, navy, white and black and I thought it was an amazing bag! But I love the Crosby design better, with easier access and one large compartment instead of two separate compartments like the Gramercy has.

I'm glad you love your Swaggers, I am going to look that up because I have no idea what that bag is. I only know the Crosby and the Gramercy right now! :smile1:

I know very little about Coach myself, PrincessCypress, so I have just had a look at the Coach subforum and I have seen quite a few great bags there. [emoji106][emoji106]

I purposely didn't show the part of the bag that I felt would be an easy giveaway, indiaink! :graucho:

But it is not a Brahmin bag, although the designer of this bag doesn't do real croc or gator (or any exotic like lizzie, ostrich, etc.) :smile1:

Mariapia, this bag is not real croc or gator, it is real leather embossed to look like it. You're absolutely right, the designer is not high end and although I never considered getting a bag from them before, I'm glad I wandered into their boutique and met a good SA who got to know my "purse-onality" and brought out the exotics hidden in the back. I still can't believe I have a ________ bag, but I love it and I'm excited and proud to rock this bag with my rockstuds!!! :woohoo:

Oooo, the plot thickens. NOT real croc? OH! The possibilities are endless! Can't wait to find out now!******

ETA: COACH, of course!

Mariapia, I went to the Coach forum and as a Coach newbie, it's a little overwhelming to me because I'm not familiar with their bags or brand. But I did Google the Swagger and I remember seeing that bag featured in their boutique. Now I can recognize 3 Coach bags, lol! :D

Yes, it's Coach, indiaink! I'm glad I never said I'd never buy a Coach bag, because I would be wrong now. But I never thought I would love a Coach bag like I love this one!!!

Here's how it looks with the wings tucked in. I love the look both ways! Wings out for casual, wings in for dressy. That's my opinion. :smile1:

I love that bag with the wings tucked in. So elegant!

That bag is beautiful!

Thank you so much for starting this thread. I live in a very rural area with no designer boutiques. But there is a Coach boutique at a mall(an hour away). So my area is over-run with Coach bags. So much so that I didn't want anything to do with it, but most of them were with the monogram, which I don't like at all. Your bag has totally changed my mind on the brand!:smooch:

OMG, you guessed it, Jesssh!!! I didn't even see your post as I was replying to other posts when you posted this, so I'm glad your post was quoted recently. :smile1:

You are a true fashionista and boy, do you know your stuff about the seams, croc embossing and floor sets. Wow, I'm so impressed by your knowledge!!!

My new bag is a Crosby (not the mini version) in Grey Birch and it's part of the Spring Act II release coming up this Friday. Going to take some pictures for my reveal later, but here is a pic of the entire bag that I took at the boutique. :D
Gorgeous, PrincessCypress!!!
Since Stuart Vevers (Mulberry) took over I can see a change in Coach. Love the new collections, especially the Swagger collection. The bags seem to have more of an edgy look to them. I'm not really a fringe gal but the fringe bags are really cool, too! And the whipstitch bags are fabulous..................
Enjoy your bag!

Awww, thank you, mkr!!! :hugs:

I'm also not a monogram fan, not just Coach but LV, Gucci, Fendi and any other designer. So I never was really interested in bags from those brands because I associated them with the monogram, but lately I have been checking them out and discovering that they do have some bags that I like, the LV Marly in epi and the Fendi 2Jours Petite, for example! I'm glad my post and pics changed your mind on the brand, it's good to be open to looking further than the monogram because there are some beautiful bags out there. :smile1:
