Today I got the most special gift from my hubby, for our 18th anniversary. Usually, I just buy something for myself because hubby hates shopping. Yesterday, I went shopping to see if I could find something that he could come back and buy me today.
First stop, Tiffany & Co. The only thing I fell in love with was a card case...lol! I guess I am a diehard leather lover; bags and shoes and SLG's are what make my heart pitter-patter.
Next, Louis Vuitton. I've never been a fan of LV, but I'm always willing to pop in now and then to see if I have a change of heart. I did like one bag, a Marly Epi BB in Pistache, but I didn't love it.
The third time was the charm! I walked into the boutique and saw this gorgeous python bag, not real python (illegal to sell in my state) but a very nice imitation python, complete with scales. I thought it was such a statement piece!
After playing with the python bag, my SA brought a couple of bags hidden in the back, both exotics (again, not real). They have to keep those bags hidden until Friday (their official release date of Spring Act II) but they saw I was into exotics so they snuck them out to show me. One was an ivory python and the other was a light taupe croc. OMG, I fell instantly in love with Miss Croc!!!
This is the first bag I've owned from this designer and I am a little surprised how much I love it because I've never really cared for embossed exotics. But this one I love!!! And it also happens to be a perfect match to my Valentino rockstud straps!!! So I no longer need to buy 4 matching bags to my rockstuds, this one matches them all!!!
I'm over the moon that I found this bag and that hubby and I went to the boutique together to get it! The experience itself was such a treat, as I usually just order a bag as a gift to myself from him. It's not every day, but hubby does continue to surprise me (in a good way!) even after 18 years of marriage. ♡♡♡
Can you guess what designer this bag is from? Maybe the answer will surprise you like it surprised me.
Hint #1: I have Hermès, Chanel (although I can't afford exotics from these two!!!), Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta and Tiffany & Co. bags, so the answer is none of these.
Hint #2: This bag won't even appear on the designer's website until Friday, for the official release.
