Anyone owns a VCA engagement ring?

Honestly in my opinion, I would suggest to get an engagement ring from another jeweller, and then get a wedding band from Tiffany, VCA, Cartier or Chaumet (your ideal luxury brands). My engagement ring was from a local jeweller and it is absolutely beautiful as it has the best colour D and clarity VVS1. I was looking out for wedding bands from Tiffany, Cartier, Chaumet and VCA but I finally settled with the Chaumet wedding bands as it matched with my engagement ring in the most perfect manner. My engagement ring was a radiant cut so it wouldn't have matched with the regular Tiffany/ Cartier love rings/ VCA the diamonds wedding band. I had to get something curved in the middle.

You might like to look at Birks. It's an iconic Canadian jeweller, and their service is superb.
My nephew inherited his grandmothers Birks 1 carat diamond ring. He had it reset when he asked his (now) wife to marry him. He was very impressed with how Birks took such good care of him. He is now a Birks customer for life. IMG_1697.jpegIMG_1697.jpeg

Forgive me if you already know this. The most important factor that impacts the beauty of an modern round brilliant diamond is cut. A triple excellent GIA grading is NOT sufficient. Of course, I’m stating the above assuming it’s not heavily included, which should not be a problem with a branded ring. Just because a stone is high in color (D-F) and very clean (VS and above) doesn’t mean it will be automatically beautiful. Try to stay within the following parameters with regard to the diamond measurements. Crown angle 34-35, pavilion angle 40.6-40.8, table 54-58%, depth 60%-69.3%. Ask the jewelry house to search for diamonds within these parameters and have them ship the diamond in for your inspection. Tiffany will do this. I bet money Graff would too.
All diamonds look amazing under professional, jewelry store lighting. These parameters ensure the diamond is stunning and gorgeous in all lighting and color environments. Among the houses you mentioned that have the most beautifully cut diamonds, I would choose Tiffany first, and then Graff.

Great advice! I just noticed there was a typo and wanted to fix it.... depth 60-62.3%.

I would not spend the money for a branded engagement ring personally. I’d rather have a larger diamond and custom band. I don’t want my ring to look like everyone else’s . No one is going to know what brand it is. You can find just as amazing quality unbranded stone without the retail mark up. I’d rather spend the left over money and get a more well recognized piece of jewelry from VCA or Cartier.
