Anyone own a Cartier Love bangle that's a large enough size to slip on and off?

^^ I like your RG laurayuki! very feminine~

hi surfergirljen I am contemplating a love bangle too and have the same reservations as you. (I originally was going to go for a VCA lucky bracelet, but decided I could not deal with hanging charms.) Planning to try a RG love on in Miami/Bal Harbour later this month. I am hoping I can wear it with my watch on my LF hand. Since I am used to my watch and sometimes sleep with it on- & that way it won't be in the way for writing, etc (I'm right handed). Which wrist do you want yours on?

Mine's a 17 and fits me pretty much like laurayuki's (but then I am not what anyone would call small boned or delicate). I too have claustrophobia issues with turtlenecks and those sorts of constricting things so I was a little worried about the bangle - especially since I don't wear bracelets at all for the most part. I'm pleasantly surprised in how unobtrusive it is. I barely even notice it!

I've had my WG Love bracelet for about 4 years now, and I very rarely take it off. I did get it large enough so that I could wiggle it off if I needed to do so. I HATE tightly fitting jewelry whether it be a bracelet, watch, ring, or necklace. I like the play on my wrist. I started off wearing it on my right wrist, but I eventually moved it to the left with my watch. I look at my left hand as my "classic hand" with the jewelry I wear everyday...my wedding set, my watch, and my Love bracelet. The right hand is for different beauties everyday.

I think what laurayuki was getting at is that the shape of the bangle is oval, not round, so it would need to be very big to be removable.

Mine is on the loose side, I think I have a 6" wrist and I got a 17. I can get it about a third of the way up between my wrist and the crook of my arm.

If you're seriously considering one, I think you need to 'make peace' with having it on 24x7, but that's just my opinion. Once it's on, you won't want to take it off!!

mathqueen99 - What a great idea!

I have mine the standard size really and it does still have movement (ie it does not feel like a hand cuff! :-)) I noticed mine when I first got it, however, now (in a good way) I do not even notice it is there!

I just can't picture the bracelet being like an actual slip on slip off bangle. I think if you try one on you will see what i mean.

Here are some pictures of my RG size 16. I can turn it all the way around my wrist even though it's oval. but because it's oval unless i actually turn it around it will never turn on it's own on my wrist

Ooh it looks gorgeous on you!!!

I guess I'll have to try them on!! :D

My normal size should be 16 but I got 18. I can slip on and off when I need it to take it off without the little screwdriver. However, I need to fold my hand to take if off so it's not that loose. This was my main purpose to get the 18.

Thanks everyone!
I think what is more important to me the more I think about it is that I be able to shove it up my arm enough to not be resting on my laptop when I type... that would drive me nuts!!!

In that case ordering a size or two up will solve the problem. I have a 17 and an 18 they both go up and stay on at about 1/4 to 1/3 way up my arm. I am a heavy laptop user myself and having them bang against the keyboard would drive me crazy too. Sometimes they slip down and hit my wrist/hand but do not go through.

Hello,
I have been contemplating to a point of just dissappointment. I have been and still am in love with the love bracelet but with 2 little kids can not picture myself with a screw driver taking on and off. However, from this forum I came a across a few getting 2 sizes biggers. Can they post a photo to see and possibly share any issue they have had when going larger. Thanks!!!

Hi, My love slips off very easy. I just bought a larger size. I am loosing weight and next year it will probally fall off. Yay. LOL.
But if you are not expexcting your wrist to change, I would say to go larger. Mine slips off so easy, like a bangle. I have very small hands , my wrists are just fat!
I will take pics for you and send pm you with them.

Thanks picture would be great. if you keep your arms down (which is typical) does it look like it's about to fall off by ordering 2 sizes big? Would love to see a photo. Thanks again! :smile1:

I was told by a few SA's that you usually have to go 3 sizes bigger at least for most people to be able to slip it on and off. I looked into this also but the majority of people would have to get the bracelet much larger to be able to slide it on and off and then it is so large that it can almost call off and sits on the top of the hand more then on the wrist. The SA's that I talked to said they really don't recommend getting it that large as it would cause the bracelet to be banged around and potentially damaged more then a more fitted size or slightly loose. I have small wrists and hands and could not slide it off 2 sizes larger. You HAVE to try it on to see what works on you as everyone's wrist is a little different.
