I don't think there's anything wrong with working for a discount, retail can be hard - need some motivation.

Once a quarter and I'm not 100% sure, but I do believe that Chanel does get that discount during those days.

I was about to answer your posting too. My friend used to work in the shipping/receiving center in Dallas..and it's 30 percent but the special sales are higher. Usually once a quarter and there are specific things (like an actual list of items) that are included in the sale. I know because I went with her and watched the associates pull out the list for us to review. And yes, premier designer stuff is usually included.

I've worked at certain stores because I loved what I sold, and I got an amazing discount. You're not going to be interested in the discounts provided to employees if you hate what you sell, right??!!

There's nothing wrong with wanting to know what discount(s) you're going to be getting...in fact I think it's imperative, because it gives you an added incentive to enjoy your job!
