The rush to judge can be very disappointing here. Sometimes I'm wary about expressing a 'who cares?' opinion about fake bags, in case somebody gets convinced I'm a big fan of counterfeits who wants to corrupt vulnerable tPF'ers.

This is my second post. A good friend is going to Italy next week and she is armed with a photo of my bag and a photo of the logo. I hope to have another couple of bags in my hands in 2 weeks. I wish we could get the bags here. I am not a plant, but a 5* yrs old mom who dislikes to shop for purses, but love this brand.

I am not much of a purse person, but I created an account just to tell you about my experience with Lucia Tommasi. In 2011, I went on a cruise and took a tour that included the Amalfi Coast. In a shop there (tourist area), I bought a Lucia Tommasi handbag for 85 Euros. It was very pretty and soft, and was an unusual design (combo backpack, shoulder bag with handles). I got a lot of compliments on it. I use only one bag at at time, so have used it constantly for 3 years, and now I discover it is not leather! The "leather" finish is peeling off! I am no expert, but it seemed like very nice soft leather when I bought it. Boy, was I fooled. If you can find any cut edges, see if you can tell whether it is genuine. I will try to upload photos.

So after reading all of this no-one knows if you can buy bags by Lucia Tommasi?
I too bought a bag near Lake Garda which I loved and it lasted me 3 years and I'd love to replace it but now I've had this bag no others in the shops compare!
