I recieved my ring! I love it! it's not too orangey at all. the color is exactly how i pictured it. it's like a gold color. the ring is a little big though so i'll have to get it resized. i actually thought that the petite rings have a space on the bottom to resize... meaning on the bottom of the ring (the palm side), it has a plain silver section w/ no cabling that allows for resizing. not true? I took a pic w/ my cell phone. sorry i couldn't get a clearer shot.

astarn, i wanted a smokey quartz too! lucky you! i want to see:D

It's a beautiful ring - I had ordered it from Saks using a gift card - but the experience was horrible! I ordered size 6 - they sent me a size 7. After calling and sending it back and having another one sent - they sent me another 7. I was SO frustrated, I had them pick it up and never re-ordered. But...at some point, I will get one - just won't order it from Saks!

Enjoy it!

I have the 14mm version of this ring and needed to have it sized up. You can order directly from DY but it takes several weeks! I was too impatient to wait that long so I let Neiman Marcus send it to one of their preferred jewelers. On the underside of my finger, you can see a line and a smooth finish. But, who looks on the underside of the finger? Nothing about the sides, top, or beauty of the ring has been taken away!

As for the color - it depends. I was absolutely in love with the Onyx for years! Finally, when I went to the store to purchase it, I ended up leaving with a Smoky Quartz! It's still got the darkness that I love, but isn't opaque like the Onyx. Shop around, until you find the one you love!!!

I did the same thing!!! I went in to buy the Onyx and left with the smoky quartz! I didn't like the the onyx as much once I put it on my finger, but became obsessed with the smoky quartz because the light could shine through it and really make it sparkle. I have olive skin, so the smoky quartz really suited me.

My roommate has all of her Yurman in the citrine color...she loves it and it looks wonderful on her skin tone. She is a natural strawberry blonde with pink undertones in her skin. If you have similar coloring, the citrine will look great on you.

I bought this ring (citrine) for my mother and gave it to her for her Mothers Day present. It is TDF! I was amazed how much ring for the price. It looks like a much more expensive ring, IMO. It's just gorgeous and understated without being blingy, flashy or gaudy.

I have the round version, thought it might be fun to share with you ladies...
