Anyone have the LO&SONS Pearl?

Well, I love it, and at the same time I think it's too small for all the crap I carry!

I've spent 3 hours trying to pare my stuff down to fit into it, and I think that it's just too small for me. I get my phone and wallet into it and then nothing else fits! I tried using one zip compartment for my "odds and ends" and then couldn't get anything in the middle section. My inhaler has to go in, and that's bulky, and I don't like it floating around or it "puffs" on its own! If I put stuff in the middle, I couldn't use the zippered sections.

I need to get my wallet, phone, backup battery (size of a card deck), ear buds, zip pouch with mini ring boxes, sunglasses and a small zip pouch with band aids, small flattish pillbox and a few hand wipes in it.

I may try one more thing tomorrow before I pack it up and return it feeling sad and defeated.

Is that the new wallet or the older one? Either way, that's a bummer. I was with you up until the zip pouches--I can see how they would fill up the bag too much. At least you tried!

That's with the new one! And I barely have anything in it. No cash as usual.

I am going to try one last thing today. The one zip pouch I cannot abandon, that's got my ring boxes. I can't have them floating freely. That I was going to keep in the snap section anyway.

But I guess Ill keep looking for something in between this and my current bag. I liked having more than one section.

:(

Bec I take my rings off a lot at work and need to keep them safely separate. They're in a pouch that keeps them right beside each other, they don't move around in the pouch, there's not enough room.

Hello! Just wanted to share my experience with my Lo & Sons Pearl, hopefully you find it helpful.

The aesthetics of the bag sound like exactly what you're looking for as it is minimal, inconspicuous and functional. For those reasons I thought it would be the perfect travel bag to take with me on a recent trip to Europe. Unfortunately, there is a bit of a glitch in the design of the crossbody strap attachment so that it began to tear away from the bag after wearing it for a couple of days crossbody-style, rendering it completely unusable.

To the brand's credit, I contacted them about this and they were kind enough to send me a new bag. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the damaged bag, but if you take a look at the way the ring is attached for the removable strap, hopefully this will make sense. I have been using my new bag for going out and about for shorter trips but will never use it for all day use again. Hope this helps!

I know this is an old thread but has anyone bought the Lo&Sons OG Bag? Thinking about getting for travel and would love some feedback.

Am deciding between that, MZ Wallace Kate Bag and Tumi Athens Carry-All.

I have it and highly recommend it. It's a great travel bag and very easy to find things because of the thought put into the design and general organization.

I don't have the Athena, but I have other Tumi bags. The quality is very high. So I don't think you could go wrong with that, either.

I'll bump this old thread since I am using mine today! I use it as a weekend bag and it works well. I downsize a little. This is not a water bottle and scarf friendly purse, but I love that it easily holds my kindle or iPad. I use a small to midsize wallet and I have enough room for the rest of the essentials. Provided they are not fat.

The leather is soft and is holding up well. I swear I scratched it, but I can't seem to find the scratch anymore. I keep it in my bike basket often and I do not baby it or even store it properly most of the time - it seems to be holding up well in soft leather for me.

I found the extender strap annoying to use, but the standard one is plenty long for me to wear crossbody. I am 5'4, busty and wear a US 16. There is still 6 inches left to extend so I think it could work easily for taller ladies.

After the 8 months or so I have had it, the logo is wearing off a bit, but that is the only wear I see. I've attached a picture for reference.

It is a great bag for the price!
