I've owned the Jennifer with the flap in black, brown and gray, and in smooth and pebbled leathers. I definitely like the smooth leather better than the pebbled version.

Hi guys! I am hoping to get some advice between medium and large . I found a good deal on 2 preowned large bags - but they seem like they might be too large. I looked at the medium and am wondering if it’s too small? I need your help!
I finally got my medium Jennifer ,Although I do love my dream bag, it does not hold as much as I would like.
So,I am starting to look into "large" . So I can have both size.
I keep looking at photo of Jennifer Aniston with her supposingly medium size Jennifer bag,but for some reason her bag looks a little bigger than "medium". Is it just me or the way it appear on the photo?
As far as my large Jennifer bag search goes, you and I probably have seen pretty much same stuff online. Good deal I have seen is brown color one or shade or pebbled leather ones.Unfortunately,I want smooth black leather ones and it's hard to find! The last one I saw is $2500 , which is almost same price as new pebbled large Jennifer with 2strap style. I just can't make myself to like pebbled leather but at the same time I am not sure if I want to take chance paying $2500 for used bag which I still can not be sure if it is Authentic or not until it arrives....or if it does even arrive at my home. I am seriously considering posting the photo here to get someone's opinion of it is arthentic or not. But this thread is not moving much,so I don't know if anyone can help me .....anyway,yes,bag does not hold much. (For what I need). You will want to have both sizes!

No i thought the same thing about the bag Jennifer Aniston carries looking larger than the demensions describe. 11.7 inches wide seems smaller to me than the one she is carrying. I have read that she has custom bags made especially for her..... so mb thats the issue? would your medium have room for an iPad? Or a book? I usually like to carry a book around with me LOL so this could determine what size i get. Thank you!
Hi,ipad will fit as long as I put in tall way,but it does not fit in side way (in my jennifer bag,but they have so many versions now ,I can't be sure if it applies to all medium Jennifer).
When I put in tall way, flap still close and looks ok since flap doesn't have to go all the way down.
Small paper back book can also fit in at the same time.
But if you have a cardigan or extra shirts ,it will not unless it is a VERY THIN MATERIAL.
Bag has narrower entrance and larger bottom.so you can fit bigger stuff in the bottom.

I am being very caucious purchasing used bag. After all it is still very expensive and making such a decision with just online pictures are hard to make.

One thing I noticed was older bags have different hardware on the shoulder belt buckle (?) Part. New one is simple lect angle one piece but older one has different design and made from two pieces ( one side of shorter metal has round poky thingy arround).

Thank you for all the info! My best advice with the used ones is to buy form sites that only sell authentic consignment. I would beware of Poshmark and some of those other sites where it is the seller who is the one sending you the bag as its not really inspected by a professional before it gets to you. I have always had a good experience with Fashionphile and recently learned of Luxury Resale Network. I would personally avoid Ebay as its really hard to tell whats real and fake. I feel conflicted still about the large size worrying that it looks huge. I saw the same photo of Julian Moore and it did look large on her! I might try to go by Nieman Marcus and see if I can check on out in person and if so I will take a picture.
Hi! I know this is an old thread but resurrecting it to see if people are still happy with their Jennifer flap bags? I recently bought a medium sized one and I’m on the fence. I wish it was a little bigger, but as mentioned here I’m afraid the large would be too large. I like the simplicity & color I got but I’m just not as wowed by it in person. Any advice on if it’s a keeper?

I own both the Jennifer Flap and Saddle bags. Saddle is slightly larger than a Medium Flap, which from all accounts seems like it's a bit massive. And I love me some big bags They're definitely keepers! Bought mine from consignment, but they were NWTs.
