Anyone ever been here? Diamond studs or Hold out for an Upgrade?

Just wondering about opinions here. I was thinking of getting a new pair of diamond studs. The pair I have now are quite small and I am older now and feel more comfortable with a larger size. I am looking at 3 ct total weight. I know these are classic staples. But, I also enjoy my more "fashion" earrings. So, I was thinking maybe I should put that $$ toward an upgrade for my wedding ring. I'm. I'm not quite at the size there I want to be.

So, my question for y'all is what do you enjoy more. Your lovely diamond studs or e-ring? Just curious.

I was in a similar situation as you are a few years ago except mine was worse. I was contemplating on upgrade to 2.50ctw studs or $ to get my ering replaced. My ering as lost but in 2008 and for awhile I don't have ering per se.

Jeweler family/friend has studs at good price. I had to decide to get studs or put that money for ering. I went with studs and could not be any happier. It's the most staple and classic piece to have and Nice bling on the ear. I wear it 300 days of a year.

Since you already have ering, I would got for studs. You can start saving for ring afterward.

i would choose the ring upgrade for the simple fact that i get to see it alot more. looking at your hand is alot easier then looking at your ears.:laugh:

The bottom line is eventually you are going to want to do both. So the question is, which one would you prefer to do first? Get the one done you really want then figure out how to get the other done in time.

I was thinking the same thing!!
Honestly, I wear nice CZs in my ears because I feel like earrings are too easy to lose, but the ring needs to be diamonds because that's what I see every time I look at my hands.
