Anyone else loving gold at the moment?

yes. I love gold (either yellow or white) better than silver. Silver is easy to tarnish and also I feel gold can keep it's value somewhat. One question when you buy a gold jewelry, do you want to know the weight of the piece? Companies like Tiffany does not list the weight, although I can get it from SA, I feel awkward when I ask. What do you ladies/gals do or you don't care how much weight it is as long as you like the design? Thanks.

I love gold and white gold/silver jewelry! I grew up wearing a lot of silver, but the last year or two, I've been turning to gold. I would like to mix metals, but I haven't been daring enough yet :sweatdrop: Still looking for a good two-toned watch to help me out with that, but there's no rush...

My mom seems to care, LOL. When I asked her opinion about class rings or rings in general, she wanted it to be "gold, 18K!"

I like both yellow and white gold. I think gold goes in phases, sometimes yellow gold is favored (like the 80's) and sometimes white gold is more popular. I think right now yellow gold has made a comeback in popularity and right now the great thing is that both white and yellow gold are popular! If diamonds are the focal point of a piece though I still prefer white gold. I love 2 tone jewelry because I think you have the best of both world with your metals!
