Hi all,

In the past two weeks, I've bought two Rouges and have troubles with each.

First, my beloved Western Embroidery Rogue. I used it for 4 hours and the Embroidery started coming off. Only four hours!!! It's in for repairs.

And then, I bought this amazing cornflower blue bag in eBay last week and it's genuine. Love it. But then, some of the stitching came off today. It's little, but the woman bought it from said she only used it a few times.

Anyone else having trouble? It's just weird, I've been buying coach bags for 20 years and I've never had this problem.

How disappointing. Sorry this is happening. Part of the reason I came back to Coach for this bag was that I was finding LV to have all kinds of quality issues. Guess I'd better check my 2 Rogues with a fine-tooth comb as well!

thanks! Yep, the whole thing is odd. And a little surprising. I'm pretty annoyed about the Western Embroidery Rogue. I"m hoping coach can fix it.
For the price of these 1941 bags, they need to have better quality control and to immediately fix issues that come up. I'm actually going today to look at the Dinky 24 because I need a crossbody bag. But I don't want to keep giving Coach my money if they don't step up their game.

Yes. i wrote this long letter to Coach to expedite my repair, I would like to take my bag to Thanksgiving. The issue is the sales people gave me a good deal on the bag by accident and they would NOT damange it out because of that. They did offer to send it in for repair. I wrote a long letter to the customer service person who coach gave me and sent them the photo I posted which is why I have it. I suspect they will take care of me. These are outtakes of my letter.

I have been a Coach customer since 1999. My family has been buying Coach for even longer. My Mother and Grandmother bought Coach as far back as the 1960’s and my sister and I even inherited some Bonnie Cassin Coach bags from them. So, in other words, I have a long and very positive experience with the brand. My mother consistently gave Coach bags to both me and my sister as presents before she passed away. Coach is a brand that my sister, my mother, and I all loved and it was something we shared. To this day, I still give my sister coach bags as presents for big birthdays.

I’m writing you today because I would like your help expediting a problem. To be clear, I just want my bag fixed and have it back for my trip home for Thanksgiving. I’m not asking for anything unreasonable here.

.......( this was just lots of detail of issues I had with the sales person.....then, I continue)

I understand that someone at the outlet made a mistake and that I benefited from it. I also understand that all the managers were doing their job and trying to protect the company. I respect that also.

I don’t think I’m asking for anything unreasonable here, so I’m hoping you can help out

But, I also know that Coach stands by its products and I used a bag for 4 hours and the stitching started to come undone. That is not normal.

I’m hoping you can help me out. This is what I would like to see done.

I leave for Thanksgiving to see my sister on Nov 22. I would like have my bag repaired and back by then, to show her. I’m hoping you can expedite the repair, so I can get it by Nov 20 to take on my trip.

Also, I want to make sure it gets repaired. I have sent bags into Coach in the past and was told they could not be fixed. I love this bag and I want to get it back in great shape.

I'll be interested to see how this all turns out.

Embroidery is notorious for coming undone. It's not just with Coach. I have a Dentelle bag from LV and some of the embroidery came loose too. It's just the nature of the stitching because it is so delicate.

I agree with lorihmatthews, with embroidery like that you'll have to live with some threading coming apart.
Hopefully Coach can fix it for you, but I don't know if they can fix the embroidery without taking a bag apart, which may take a while to do and they may just offer you a refund of the bag.(which I'm sure you don't want).

Thanks all! I just want my bag fixed and honestly, stitching should NOT come undone is 4 hours. I'll post an update when I get one.

On a happier note, I did find this beautiful bag charm on sale at Macy's today that will match the bag well and it's 33% off.

Coach came through with flying colors! They sent me a new bag. I have the tracking number. Gets here Tuesday. Can't wait.

Clearly I need to be careful with this bag. I have a two calf hair bags, and guess I need to treat this bag with the same TLC.

Hooray for Coach!
Wow! Awesome news and such a fast response. Congrats!

Very happy to hear that! And yes, this type of stitching is very delicate. Enjoy your new bag!

Yes, Coach really does take good care of their good customers. One of the reasons I wrote such a strong letter to Coach and asked for a speedy repair is I wanted to make sure they fixed the bag while they still had some in the stores. I did not care if they repaired it or replaced it, I just wanted to make sure I got the bag.

I called them today and it's interesting, they had my whole purchase history from the outlets and the stores back over a decade and told me how valuable I was to them. I buy one or two bags a year and mostly deletes from the outlets. (and sell about 1/2 on eBay if I don't use them much), but i guess it adds up.

Anyway, so back in love with the brand. Stuart needs to make lots and lots of pretty Rogues for me to choose from.

I can't wait to get the bag and add the charm. I've never bought a bag charm before and I did not quite get "it", but the one I got looks so good with the bag. The Suede and tigers eye is so pretty together.

I order the Western Rivet 25 from Saks and when it came I saw cracks in at least 3-4 embellishments. Mind you the item was well packaged etc but it still happened thougn I can see clearly why as they're not solid metal hardware as one would think, all the embellishments are hollow hence so easy to be crushed or cracked. Out it went back to Saks.
