Anyone else feeling overwhelmed with the new releases?

I've only been collecting for a year and a half so maybe this is normal for LV, but I've been overwhelmed by all of the new releases starting with the 2nd wave Kusama. I can't keep up with the styles, the colors, the prices or the release dates.

Is it typical for LV to release so many new bags?
I’m sort of in and out of the game but I think it’s gotten like fast fashion. I don’t recall so many releases in the past but social media wasn’t as prevalent either So there’s that

There definitely were not so many releases in the old days. It was much easier to keep track (and to even purchase limited pieces). I could often walk in to a store and just ask for a limited item and they’d have it in stock. Much more choice now. But also sometimes harder to get the limited pieces.

It’s got very like fast fashion. They’re churning it out and it’s of lesser quality and — in my opinion — mostly not very nice. As I always say, I’m thankful that I became interested in the brand years ago and was able to buy older styles which are much more to my taste and better made (and a fraction of the price, too).

AND.... I am and always will be a monogram lover. I like bigger bags, so PM, Side Trunk, etc don't work for my everyday use. I am considering a Palm Springs PM but not really sure about it. I got a Montaigne in February and I love that bag but as we know, the leather push is REAL. So that combined with the Fast Fashion vibe, is giving me pause.

I’m so Overwhelmed! I can’t afford to buy a lot so I plan my purchases, and I feel like every time I decide on something, something else comes out and then I’m like “wait, should I wait for that or get this?” And then I wind up buying nothing because I’m too Indecisive lol
Exactly. By the time something grows on me, it is already unavailable.

What are the release collections now?
  • Pre-Fall
  • Fall/Winter
  • Spring/Summer
  • Cruise - Pre-Spring
That's the main four collections, and now there's an additional 4-6 special collections throughout the year, such as holiday collections, capsule collections like "by the pool" , and collaborations like YK?

I like to have variety and special pieces, but perhaps too many now to keep up with all the side collections. I think they are trying to attract a wider range of clients with all the releases.

This is so true! I agree with you 100% as that’s how I’m feeling too. Being unsure and undecided so by the time I decide it’s sold and I’ve missed the boat so I buy nothing
