Michael Kors Anyone Else Considering a Ban for 2016?

This is absolutely true. I've been the most successful at not buying bags when I stopped visiting this forum. My collection is only missing a spring/summer bag. Now, I'm thinking I'll allow myself only that "one".......

100% ban for 2016. i told my family so they can help me, too. i bought every single bag i wanted in 2015 and have everything i wanted and then some. totally satisfied right now and i want to start using and enjoying what i bought. i think not visiting tpf will help also, so i'm not going to visit much. i think tpf encourages unnecessary spending. i get most of my ideas for bags from tpf, so not being on here will curb it a lot for me. good luck to everyone else who is also going on a ban. :smile1:

Totally agree with you girls! I was off here for a few months in the late summer/fall and bam, I had no urge to buy new bags. Then I got back on here around November and consequently did way too much damage! I think I'll have to stay away from the forum as well. There's always going to be something else I want so I don't need the enabling!

I bought one last bag since I first said I was going to cut back a few days ago - a pink ruby Coach Crosby. THAT WILL BE IT! My New Year's resolution is going to be NO NEW BAGS! I love the ones I have so I need to start enjoying them! I have colors for all seasons now so I absolutely do not need anything else!

I am also on a ban sort off!! I have bought quite a few this year and love pretty much each one, I now want to enjoy them all. I am finding that as a result I am not desperate for any new style or colour (although ballet looks really pretty!!). What I am banning myself from is buying something because it is a super bargain, the only two bags I don't 'love' are my super bargains that I only got because of the price. I still like them and will use them but they don't make me really smile when I use them (I will still look for a bargain but only on bags I really want).

+1, this is my situation also. Not a ban per se but no buying just cause of a good deal. I only want to purchase something I feel will be a good fit for my collection and take my time deciding prior to purchase.

I so need to go on a ban, but every time I look, I see something I want! I need to ban myself from this forum! I dread all the spring/summer bags coming out soon because I just KNOW there will be about 10 more that I want, I mean, NEED!

So, maybe not complete ban for me, but I do need to cut back! I find myself lately not being 100% happy with a lot of the bags I've purchased. I've thus vowed to not purchase any bag until I see it in person first. That way I can see if it's love or just lust! Also, It's much less convenient to have to walk into a physical store to browse handbags and I feel much more guilty buying yet another bag when I have to actually swipe a credit card.

I agree, online shopping is a blessing and a curse! I also find that I have so many bags (mostly MK but also some other brands) that I don't use and purchased as impulse buys. If anything, I'd like to sell them and purchase things I'm more likely to use.

The Camille is gorgeous but when my kids were really small, I didn't carry a seperate bag. Just a wallet or something small inside the diaper bag. Or, a tote that was big enough to hold everything like the Izzy or Neverful.....:smile1:

I'm now debating if I even need a diaper bag. I was eyeing a jujube bff diaper bag. I just bought 2 coach bags from the factory sale today, but I'm not sure if I'll be keeping 1 or returning both. I def don't plan to keep both! I have a longchamp tote and that's it for totes, how was the neverfull as a diaper bag? I had a medium size one before and the straps seemed a bit uncomfortable. Sorry for being OT!

Now after coming back to this thread I feel like I should return both coach bags [emoji38] I also want to sell a Rebecca Minkoff bag and another Coach bag that I have. Then I really think I have to get off TPF so I don't get in the mindset of "oh I sold a bag, now I can buy a new one!"

With my first two, I used diaper bags because, honestly, I carried a lot of unnecessary items. With my 3rd, my Neverful was perfect. The straps never bothered me. I was able to fit everything I needed for my son and myself all while looking stylish....:smile1:

I had diaper bags because i basically skipped the purses... I saw loads and loads of LC LP yesterday being used as diaper bags, frankly i'd probably go that route *If* i had a little one again, but mine are almost all grown and a grandbaby is on the way so who knows what is done these days lol.

I used a standard diaper bag and long time ago. The kind you buy at baby stores with themes like Disney babies.. I'm sure you could find an alternative inexpensive cute tote to use as a diaper bag. Perhaps return one or both Coach bags and use part of that for one of the totes they have. Coach makes some pretty nice ones too or the MK jet set.

Seriously! I need a purse ban . Was doing well until I got back on tpf and bought two more bags. Lol somehow it justifies purchase. I have many Mk bags and it's time to stop. Maybe someone can post what works for them. I like to shop my own collection. Why Am I never satisfied?

Yes, absolutely! I don't need any more purses. So I've lasted two days so far in the new year, hope I can go another 363! Probably would help if I stayed off this site, so I don't feel like I'm missing out on something.

I am going to work on and update my bag app I use. This might help alot when "thinking" I "need" a new bag. I can look at my current inventory prior to deciding vs making impulse purchases, color and style wise.
