Lol. You're not the only one. I have a loupe, polariscope, and refractometer. I like to think I'm a jewelry scientist sometimes, even though I really have no idea how to use any of these things properly, haha.

I feel so sad...i saw a feather on top of the table and in the girdle area too..Ive been happy with my ring until i saw this through the loop...I have used the ring but was really careful, do you think I could return it anyway Im still in the return period? Theres no scratches at all...if it was just on the top it wouldnt bother me..but in the girdle? I could see it 20x and 40 x...i dont know which to regret, buying the ring or the loup?lol

Don't be sad. If you're looking at such high magnification unless it's a flawless diamond you'll probably find something. I like to think of the tiny marks as the diamond's birthmarks.

What's the problem? That's a naturally occurring inclusion. Every single diamond has SOME inclusions, unless it's a FL or IF stone. Diamonds are graded at 10x, btw, not 20, not 40.

The jeweller also look at it through a 10x loup and saw the one in the girdle..I didnt even see it until he told me..I only saw the one in the table. After he told me, I kept on looking til I finally saw what he did..I was so bothered after I saw it. I opted to return it rather than be stressed about it...
