BeverlyHills: Charles Kyoung Kim MD Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Has done some training in SKorea ckplasticsurgeryinc.comdoes anyone have experience with Dr. Charles Kyoung Kim in LA/OC? Some folks have recommended him but I can't find many before and after pics for rhinoplasty, on his instagram page and yelp page the reviews are mainly abt botox
I was considering going to SK to get the rhino done but covid, Dr. Kim is a more local option but I wanted to ask if anyone has heard anything about him or have gotten work done w him
BeverlyHills: Charles Kyoung Kim MD Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Has done some training in SKorea ckplasticsurgeryinc.comJust wondering if there are any good US based surgeons that perform Asian plastic surgery and if they are any good? I’ve researched some, but I haven’t seen anyone on here talk about it. I’m too much of a wuss to go to Korea by myself.

Wave Plastic Surgery, Los Angeles, several locations: Dr Peter Lee, Founder is great. Dr Ben Lee's b&a looks good too. They operate on tons of Korean and Chinese https://waveplasticsurgery.com/
Blacklist (all nearby LA or in LA):
There's a reason all of these places are on the blacklist. Cause they are similar in which they all do a terrible job on people's surgeries. Do yourself a favor and get the surgery done in Korea but make sure to research b4hand.
Charles S Lee (Tiktok dude that makes videos saying what surgeries Kpop idols did) -- is only good at marketing on Tiktok, nothing else
Premier Cosmetic Surgery and Medspa -- known in the area to advertise excessively and heard lots of horror stories from people I know, has good Yelp reviews but they're mostly fake + bad reviews are taken down
Goretti Ho -- lawsuits for ruining a girl's eye
Wave -- same thing as Goretti Ho, lots of bad Yelp reviews (you can check out the yelp reviews to seem them for yourself)
CK -- same things as those above
Kenneth Kim -- same thing as those above
Oh, I read about that. This is exactly why I can't trust doctors in the LA area. They all are greedy and crazy. And the fact that they even tried to sue and gaslight her while she was under so much distress is bewildering. I read in the court document that one of the things they tried to sue her for but failed was causing intentional emotional distress. The girl should have been the one suing them for emotional distress...Please add Dr Donald Yoo to the blacklist.
There was a girl on Realself that shared her shocking experience with him. He created two septal perforations during the surgery, he stated he also performed a septoplasty when he did not, and he unexpectedly terminated the doctor-patient relationship after she raised valid questions post-op about her breathing difficulties. She was not only left with a nose she was very unhappy to see in the mirror but also significant functional problems alongside being out of pocket $28K. He and his brother then sued the girl for $2.5 mil for sharing her experience on Realself and they made up completely false litigious claims to gaslight her during a period when she was already under emotional distress over her post-op surgical results. Fortunately, the court ruled in the patient's favour and deemed the lawsuit was a baseless attempt to intimidate and silence her against public participation (i.e. SLAPP lawsuit). His conduct and treatment of this patient when problems arose was honestly appalling.
Is this what happens when a surgeon's ego gets inflated after they reach a certain threshold of Instagram followers and they stop genuinely caring about each individual patient? I suppose he views patients more as just another number on the conveyor belt now.
Do you think the Korean doctors are so good, or just maybe the online review system in the US is messed up? So dumb...Blacklist (all nearby LA or in LA):

I'm sure there are no unethical doctors in Korea...Yeah, all of these unethical plastic surgeons in LA basically create a gag clause contract to prevent people from writing their bad experience and find a loophole in the Consumer Review Fairness Act. It is disgusting how they do this. To be honest, when they commit medical malpractice, they should be allowing the patients to write their personal experience instead of preventing them. They might refund your money but not allow you to write what happened to you, which is just ridiculous. This basically allows them to pretend as if nothing happened and get away with it. Obviously, the victims will need to accept the money because how else will they be able to pay for a plane ticket and surgery fees at Korea to fix the mistakes from these liars? The world is full of bad people like these.
Do you know this stuff first hand or just posting a lot of nonsense to scare people away from his practice? Do you think the doctors are always wrong or maybe patients can be crazy too? Please add Dr Donald Yoo to the blacklist.

I would take all this info with a grain of salt. All the major surgeons in US are "blacklisted" along with most of the Korean clinics. There is always someone who wants to complain/ruin someone's business. Thanks! This is really useful! Will keep in mind and stay away from these monsters.
Tbh This person sounds like one of the doctors on the blacklist or their marketer. Their account was made with all posts on the same day, and the posts are defensive of the accused doctor. All the more reason to trust the black list imo, if doctors are crazy enough to come on here and argue with botched patients. Everyone stay safe out there.I would take all this info with a grain of salt. All the major surgeons in US are "blacklisted" along with most of the Korean clinics.
