any tips on buying a birkin in Vancouver and Beijing

Thanks kshin30! Confirmation that Seoul might be a better place to buy birkins than Japan (price-wise).... Are Birkins in Seoul readily available in the H shops (ie. displayed on the shelves) or do u need to have a relationship with the SA to get one? Thanks!!!!

my experience from seoul is that birkins are not that readily available. i visited 3 hermes stores and none of them had any birkins in regular leathers. the flagship store is a beautiful building and has many gorgeous bags but not birkins. still worth seeing though. think they had an ostrich birkin in 30 but it was already "reserved." think that they had quite a few kellys. also saw a HAC in the larger size (40?) at the DFS store.

i was expecting it to be more like japan, with birkins galore on the shelves but that wasn't the case.

fyi, i was there at the end of june.

maybe you girls will have better luck than me!

I was at Vancouver store on Friday and they had a 35cm gold birkin in clemence sitting on shelf. Go in and poke around. It couldn't hurt.
