Here is the Petit H thread where you can see other Petit H bags. Really its up to your personal taste and price comfort. Its kind of cool that each one is somewhat unique but personally for me, the DIY vibe to it is not my cup of tea.
It's a "no" for me. Yikes, I didn't realize this was an Hermes bag. I just saw the thread title "what do you think of this bag" and was curious. Now that I know (after the fact) that this is Hermes, I am shocked! At first glance it looked like a cheap Target or bargain basement bag. I had to check the price - about $3500 usd 
I think the leather looks good, the colours are very wearable and obviously quite a lot of work has gone into the making of it.
If you have that kind of haute-casual vibe running through the rest of your wardrobe, want something to liven up an otherwise 'norm-core' look or need an extra bag with personality, it could work.

The wonderful thing about Hermes is that the journey is unique for each individual. Personally, I am a big fan of petits' customizability. You'll own something no one else has. In my eyes they're underappreciated and on par with special/ fully custom orders.
If I wasn't on an Hermes break I would personally buy it. Its understated enough to wear around the office and suitable for daily use in public. Only another Hermes lover would know. Sounds like a good way to make new Hermes friends in a cafe too...

My question is...
If it was'nt a Hermes bag (allbeit Petit H) would you even consider it?
If you did'nt see it and immediately go "wow! love it!" and buy it immediately my instinct would be to leave it.
Its a clever use of off-cuts and like many Petit H pieces I find it imaginative and amusing but personally I dont like it and would'nt buy it despite liking quirky things its too gimmicky.

I think there are many more interesting bag options from Petit H, but if you love it & it's
giving you the vibe you want from a bag, then why not

At first glance I thought it was a dining room chair…it’s a “no” from me.
While it’s personally not a bag I’d choose for myself, that’s what keeps stores in business, and makes things interesting. If you like the bag, and it works for you, then get it! I am certain that we all have bags in our collections that don’t appeal to everyone. I do think that maxroxxherhandbags brings up a great question, though, regarding its appeal. Do you like the bag for the bag, or because it’s Hermes? No judgment either way - this is the purseforum!
