Any thoughts on Patricia Nash bags??

I have the Toscano tooled leather tote and the leather is thick and quite high quality. The corners are doing well so far.
I'm resurrecting this thread because today one of my former students gave me this very beautiful leather kisslock clutch / cosmetic bag as a thank-you gift. (She's a senior in high school and her last day of classes was today; we've always chatted about our love of handbags ever since I had her in class as a sophomore!) I was shocked at such a lovely gift and feel very lucky. I'm going to miss her.
I've noticed Patricia Nash's bags in Macy's over the past few months and have stopped to admire the vintage-y, boho look of her style...and the thick leathers. I'm also in love with this olive color, and the interior is lined with a pretty suede. Just oohing and aahing over it tonight. Thanks for letting me share!!!

I appreciate that. I love PN purses and I do have quite a few but I wonder why she uses only brown and on occasion black zippers on all her items with a zipper. I think it's tacky to have a red and black floral purse with a black strap and a brown zipper. On my red cassi wallet it also has a brown zipper. None of my other purses by other designers use those colors. They always co ordinate with the color of the purse. I'm not all that crazy about her burnt edges because so many of them are rough and scratchy with loose leather threads. I wonder if she designs these or maybe somebody else is just trying to cut corners. I just received a beautiful teal cutout corfu crossbody with teal color lining and again with a brown zipper. That takes away from the beauty of the purse. Anyone else have these thought. Happy to hear them.
It’s the difference between “old school” Patricia Nash bags and the decision to broaden her brand’s appeal without fully embracing the newer offerings ethos.
