Any thoughts on Max Mara bags?

MaxMara is an Italian design house and they are all over the world. They are super high end but absolutely worth it. I have 2 bags from them that are at least 3 years old and look perfect still, the quality is beyond amazing. They are mainly ready to wear but have 35 different diffusions/lines associated with the main brand. Check it out, they are my most favorite accessories and jackets I own, and have stores in most major cities.

OMG, so beautiful! What store did you get it from, and what is the name, color of the bag, please?
Do you know of an on-line store that sells this particular bag?
Dani it is from the winter collection 2010/11.
I got it in Luxembourg, in their Max Mara store for 699 Euro.
I don´t want to lie but I heard that it is a new bag ( they started selling it during the winter collection). They wanted to make an elegant bag, which you can wear on your shoulder.
I don´t know the name..
..but will try to find it out 
Now (spring/ summer 2011 ) they have the same bag, but in brown and blue (withouth the croc print ). There is also the white version and a version with brown leather + lizard and canvas.
There are two sizes.
I think, if you go to the Max Mara store and ask for a bag "like Hermes" they will know, what you are looking for
The bag has a very structured shape and many people say it is Hermes inspired.

Max Mara has a bag that caught me eye, but it's a new brand to me (think I have a scarf somewhere, but that's it). I searched the forum but it doesn't seem to be much, just older threads like this one.
So, please tell me if you have experience from Max Mara bags!
What's the quality like, wear and tear? Pricing on bags is quite low, which makes me a bit worried about the quality.

I have a max mara j bag. I’ve had it for 2 years and it still looks new. FWIW, mine says made in Italy. I think the quality is 2nd tier premier. So not Hermès or Chanel but YSL or givenchy. I have the j bag and a givenchy nightengale and I think the quality is similar. Maybe the leather on the nightengale is a little bit thicker. But still, the leather, construction, hardware and (fabric) lining all look good and nothing about it looks cheap.
The thing is I think good quality bags can sell for around $1k - about the price point of a new max mara. Amounts over than that are usually for the name.
