swatch was all the rave when i was in primary and high school.

i was cleaning up the other day and found my swatch watches that i used to love. it's sad that i don't wear them anymore but looking at each one of every them reminded me how happy i was to get each one of them and how simple things used to be.

i have over 100 swatches... love them all.

some i wear some are still in the boxes.

i still have and wear my original smelly swatch from 1984. it was yellow and smelled like bananas.

I haven't thought about Swatch since I was a teenager but then I was at the airport and they had the new collection for Autumn/Winter on display and some of them were gorgeous! I was really surprised how lovely they were. My children both have (and love) Swatch watches, so the loyalty continues . . . .

So very surprised and happy to have found this thread, as I like to call myself a bit of a Swatch collector. Although they are not an expensive watch, I do love them. They are just so fun and different. I think I have about 40'ish of them. I will try to post pics of them.

I love this thread... I'm not a swatch watch collector but I think they are pretty cool and I always get some sort of funny compliment when I wear my...

I have about five Swatches. While I don't consider myself a Swatch collector, I do like to go in their stores every once in a while and see if they have any cool or unique watches to purchase. Overall, I think Swatches are really fun watches.

My best one is the Bunny Sutra watch. I found it at an airport Swatch store after they stopped making that particular model, so I was pretty lucky. It is quite a hilarious watch for those of you who have ever seen it and it also has a complication that none of my other watches have! ;)

I'd love to see more pics of other people's unusual or funny Swatches!

Me me me!! I've recently started collecting Swatches. But they don't just sit in my watch display box, I wear them everyday. My faves are the ones from the early 80s that I remember drooling over when I was growing up. My first Swatch ever was the 1984 Breakdance watch which now goes for over $200!!! I have no idea whatever happened to mine but I sure wish I still had it. Maybe I'll take pics of some of mine later ...

Also, any collectors MUST have the Swatchclopedia from Squiggly. It's a big book w/ color photos of all Swatch watches ever made. :-)

Wow! I didn't realise people collect Swatch! There are some really funky ones out there!

I'm looking for a new low-budget watch just now, just something nice. White or stainless steel. Anyone have any recommendations? (Sorry to hi-jack the thread!)

I'll keep admiring the collections as they come anyway :D
