Longchamp tote?
Thanks for the rec! Do you know if Longchamp has a solid base? As in the base doesn't curve on lifting the bag.
I love the look of the Rebecca Minkoff MAB tote but I don't know how comfy the straps are and how heavy it is. But there's a few reviews on Youtube.
Nordstrom are pricematching at the moment:

Normally I would recommend Longchamp but if you want something with compartments, then it isn't right for you. I might suggest the Tory Burch York tote. It comes in two sizes. The smaller one is 250ish and the larger is 295. The bag is usually excluded from Tory Burch's Friends and Family, but right now if you spend $200+ on NM's website then you can save $50. This would make the larger tote in your price range!
In that case, I'd agree with other ladies here on Longchamp la pliage. Also, LLBeans boat and totes? Or the Landsend version? I like them both. Although they're canvas, they're water repellent and stand upright. Hard wearing and can be washed, although they are hardly get stained anyway. Lots of color accent to choose from. You can also mix and match the size and handles length that you want. Understated but chic. And you can monogram them to make it a bit more personalized. Maybe check them out?
Le sportsac is also another good choice for hard wearing and light weight bags. Lots of prints and style to choose from. Kipling is also very durable with compartments. They look less professional than the former two though.
Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately this bag doesn't have compartments as I would have liked in the middle![]()
