You all have helped me so much!! Thank you! Sometimes it just helps hearing outside opinions, from both sides!!! It helped me kind of condense the decision down to just the nuts and bolts. The bottom line is that I truly do love it! And I don’t need the funds- I think it’s just that as I’ve gotten older, I’m trying to minimize the non necessities and clutter in my life (trying the Marie Kondo philosophy, essentially ). But, as many of you have pointed out, I can always sell down the road should I choose, but for right now, I think it must still feel special enough that it makes me sad to think of selling. So I think I will take the advice to break her out and use her, even if it’s just once a month or so, and enjoy it!! Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts, from both sides!! Really helped!!:flowers::idea:

If you don’t need the money/want to sell to use the money to buy something else, I’d keep it. I’ve had too many regrets after selling pieces I hadn’t really used. Fortunately nothing too major, but I will think very carefully before selling anything else. It’s getting too expensive to replace items, particularly limited/discontinued pieces.

Glad you keep it. If I start using a bag that I have not used for a long time, I start falling in love with the bag again.

I know this is for LV, but I regret selling my 4 Chanel handbags. They were all beautiful and very rare and when I got pregnant I panicked and sold them all, including all of my LV pieces. I don't necessarily regret selling my LV bags, because what I have now satisfies me more—but I do regret selling those Chanels.

Sure wish I could get them back.

I don’t regret selling my LV items (Multicolore pochette in white, MC Cherry Blossom pochette in pink, Conte de Fees pochette in black satin, Epi pochette in mandarin, DE Ribera, etc.). I was not using them and no longer was in love with them. I used the money from those bags to buy other bags that I really wanted and use. I did keep my other LV pieces that I love (MC Cherry Blossom in brown and pink pochette, matching scarf and key clefs, MC Panda pochette, Mabillon backpack). I will not part with those.

If you love it, keep it and rotate it or just pull it out to admire. I wouldn’t worry about what your husband says. I would tell my husband to get rid of his tools that he does not use. Lol. When my husband makes a comment about my bags, I tell him I’ve been buying and collecting designer bags 10 years before I met him and inherited a number of them from my mom. Bags are my hobby. He doesn’t say anything after that. Lol.
