They did have the small Georgie which I tried on but it was in pink Ruby. After I tried it on the SA asked if she could ring it up for me. I started to put it back on the wall and she said - if you want it, please bring it to the register. Ummm, I don't want the same Coach that I have seen 4 other people try on. This is not Macy's. I want one wrapped up that is 100% completely and totally mine!!! LOL I know I sound like a crazy person!! I explained to the SA that while I did want it, I wanted Mandarin and she told me that was excluded in the PCE. :(

Did you end up buying anything?

I know and it IS soooo cute!! After the SA told me the Borough was excluded, she told me so were the Mandarin items. I was somewhat bummed out at this point, so I started holding up different items in Mandarin and asking "Is this excluded?" LOL. The only thing that wasn't was the lobster key fob!!

Very odd because the only item I've been considering this PCE is the Bright Mandarin Preston. I went to the FP store to see it today and they didn't have them but I've seen the color in pebbled leather before on a different bag at Macy's. I was concerned that this SA told you that Mandarin items are excluded so I attempted to enter my PCE code and CC info on Coach.com as if I were checking out and it applied the discount so I'm not sure why your were told that Mandarin items are excluded.

I don't know why they told me that either. I was certainly interested in purchasing one. One thing I know for sure is that I will be going to a different Coach location from now on!

I picked up the small Georgie in pink ruby and the starfish FOB today. My store didn't have the mandarin Georgie but we talked about it and not once did they mention that any of the mandarin bags were excluded. My SA also told me they were price matching Macy's on the Boroughs which I thought was awesome. (Her name is Vantah (Von-ta) at the Clackamas Town Center, Oregon boutique if anyone needs that information. She's the store manager and LOVES PurseForum since I showed her a few months ago!)

I asked her to look up the woven Preston in navy and the only colors in their computer were the white/fawn and white/bright mandarin; unfortunately, no navy, at least for now, but honestly they feel super cheap in person, and they're definitely painted, not dyed. Also, no soapstone Sullivan which made me sad.

BUT! She said they're starting to see the Veevers bags in the computer if they search for the right stuff and she showed me a few, so if you have an SA you like and some time it might be worth it to go in and play. I would have stayed tonight but they were super busy.

I think I am sticking to it! If my SA had called today, I might have ordered something but now I think I can resist. We are going on vacation soon. I don't know what I might find on the trip that I might want so I'd like to leave my options open.

That's ridiculous! I would hate to go in there and have half of the things be excluded. Maybe they are going to get like Banana Republic with their BR picks exclusions.

Oh no the woven prestons are cheap looking and painted???? I was considering a woven in black/navy. tell me more, have you seen in person?

I saw an indigo/black woven small riley at the fp store yesterday. I can't say if it was painted, I honestly didn't look that close at it but my first impression was that it looked plasticee. I did say to the sa that the indigo looked sort of purple....but in different light who knows and this is just my opinion, others may totally disagree with me.

Hmmmmmm thanks for the reply. Plastic looking maybe due to the sheen? This was one bag I was hoping would be a knock out. Anyone else have comments about the indigo/black or the wovens?

Vacation!! Where? The entire trip to Coach was ridiculous! Hubs wanted to get me an anniversary gift - 17 years today - yet the bags I wanted were excluded or they only had the floor model to sell me - ewww. Lol

Yes I saw the Riley's and the Preston's in person. They look more rubbery than plasticky to me because the paint makes it look matte. It's cheap looking though, and I have a feeling color loss is going to be a major issue because it's just paint. The leather itself is woven but the color/striping is just painted on. I hope that makes sense.
