Any purchases planned for the May 1 PCE?

I bought the woven Preston in Fawn/White. I don't think that she feels "rubbery" or "plasticky" as some other TPFers have said. I think she's gorgeous! The stripes are not painted on -- the leather is dyed and then embossed with the "weave." I love her!!

Could you post pictures? I have been wanting to see this bag.

I received my PCE order Monday; I loved the phoebe and the Madison chain clutch, but the bleecker pocket clutch had dirty, scuffed vachetta and I was pretty disappointed. So I'm returning it, obviously.

I think I'm going to get the studded mini preston instead, in black. Or should I get ecru? What do you think? How's the leather on these minis? Soft and smooth I hope?

The leather on the mini P's is great, like Legacy leather. I love both the black and ecru studded minis.

I'd get the ecru first. It's just different with the silver studs and looks really great in that small mini size. If that wasn't available I'd get the black.

These two are my favorite of the mini Preston offerings. Let us know what you decide!

Good choice on the black! I ordered both, and wanted to love the ecru more - however, the leather was stiffer - it didn't seem like the dye was as penetrated (like some of the Legacy leather colors that wore off on corners etc) - the black one seems softer - and I doubt will ever have a problem with fading.
