Any LV Football Fans?

I looked on the website just now (NFL shop) and the totes are all sold out for my team (Vikings). Hopefully they get more in. I really just want to bring my phone, empreinte clues as a wallet and lipgloss, but prefer something with a wrist strap or shoulder strap. I don't live in the Twin Cities metro so no local team shop that has the official team merchandise, which I think it has to be???

Try fanatics!

I have a question about the NFL's bag policy and am hoping I'm not the only LV lover and diehard football fan! I haven't been to a game in a couple of years and my husband and I have some tickets this year. Just wondering what bags any ladies have brought with them and how strict they are on sizes. I was hoping to bring my Twin GM as a clutch, but see that it's slightly larger than the NFL's clutch dimensions listed on their website (which isn't even large enough to hold an iPhone!). Hopefully there are a few of you out there that have some experiences to share! Thanks!
They enforce this stupid rule. I say it is stupid because when I go to MLB games you can bring anything, but it is checked. Also, I went to one soccer game in the SAME stadium as our NFL team and I could bring anything. The NFL is the NO FUN LEAGUE and wants to force people to buy the cheapo plastic bags that fall apart. My bf is a season ticket holder so I got the freebie one the first year they started this stupid rule, but that zipper was flimsy and I wanted crossbody so I bought the crossbody plastic cheapo bag on NFL Shop site. Also, our stadium has lockers outside for those who bring the wrong thing. I don't bring LV because I have seen drunk people fall over down into the row below them and others spill their beer on people. I am not chancing that behavior with my LV!

In Seattle they seemed to inconsistently follow this rule. I would have loved to bring my pochette but it didn't fit within the dimensions, so I downsized my wallet and brought mini pochette. My iphone still fit in it but it was obnoxious to get it in and out so I ended up leaving it in my pocket. Go Seahawks!
My bf is a Seahawks season ticket holder! Can't wait till September 11th for the first home game!

Does an iPhone 6 fit in a mini pouchette? I don't have one, but am thinking it's probably too big. Couldn't I just stick my slightly oversized clutch in a clear plastic bag to get through the door! :biggrin:Or do they limit what can be brought in the ziploc bag?
My iPhone 6 (not plus) fits into my mini pochette (with thin case on it). I think you can put whatever in the clear bag. I have personally just brought a Kipling blue color large wristlet thing in my clear bag.

Die hard 49ers fan but I don't take any LV to the game. Why don't you get the clear cross body with your team logo on it.
49ers fan here too! Dating a diehard Seahawks fan though lol.

For fans like me who don't take LV, I saw a new Dooney & Bourke wristlet in your team's logo for sale at select Macy's, Lids, and on NFL Shop. I am not a D&B fan, but thought they were kinda cute.

Resurrecting this thread because I have to go to Monday's Patriots game as part of what I'll call "corporate wife duty." Sorry to say I'm not much of a football fan, much more of a hockey fan where you can bring in any size bag. I can't imagine going bag-less or carrying my possessions in a plastic zip-lock bag. From what I've read online, a wristlet-type of bag is OK. Does anyone know if the LV Pallas Clutch meets the requirements? The Gillette Stadium website says wristlets up to 8x5x2 are OK. The Pallas Clutch is 9x5x2, so really close, but a bit over. Can anyone tell me if this would be an acceptable bag to bring in? Would it pass security? I have to go to dinner with our hosts before the game so will not have any time to buy a plastic bag at the shop beforehand (and frankly, I find the bag policy so insulting I wouldn't buy one anyway). I appreciate any help and guidance you all can provide!

They do enforce it @ Gillette. I'm a huge fan - just stick to what it says. In my opinion - It isn't worth the hassle of possibly being turned away or holding up the line. I was given a clear patriots bag so that's what I used when I went in October with all my LV slgs in it. It's for security so I don't find it insulting at all. It's not personal. If I wasn't given that bag I would have just used a wristlet or woc that met the requirement.

Thanks for the advice. I don't find the security insulting -- the thing that irks me is that they put this policy in and then offer to sell you a cheap bag that meets their requirements. It makes it seem like it's less about actual security than about selling stuff. If you go to a Bruins game, backpacks aren't allowed but I see plenty of women with Neverfulls -- every bag gets checked, so size doesn't matter.

Do you know what happens if someone shows up with a regular size handbag? Just curious if they turn the person away, or make them stash the bag somewhere. I imagine lots of people go and don't know the policy before they get there.

The clear bags are ugly but get the job done! I'm glad I was given one, I would not have purchased one, I'd have used something else. I'll only use it @ Pats games. I haven't seen anyone try to enter with a regular bag. Knowing how strict they are about most things I wouldn't even try it. Why invite the hassle? Around me in the seats no women had bags except clear plastic. Some had wristlets or small clutches. I do not think they would let you stash the bag to be honest, where would you put it? Who's going to be responsible for it? Not them.

I know Fenway & The Gardens policies are different. I frequent all the sports venues pretty often. It doesn't bother me. Since you know the policy I'd just bring something you know passes & make life easier.

Yes, I know you're right. I was just curious about what happens when someone does accidentally bring a bag that doesn't adhere to their rules.

This experience has made me realize just how dependent I am on having my bag with me! I'm probably going to have to buy a wristlet just for this event, and carry other stuff in my pockets.

You can still take small clutch/pouchette size without it clear.
If you need to take a larger bag it must be the clear. But can't be bigger than 12x12
I live in Dallas and they are pretty strict with this rule, not sure about other cities.
I'm in Dallas too and go to games regularly. They don't play with the policy. I don't have any small LV bags so I carry a small Gucci clutch.

I'm going to have to find a small wristlet/clutch type of bag, as I just can't see myself carrying my stuff in a plastic zip-lock bag! I'd bring the Pallas Clutch but it's one inch longer than their guidelines. It sounds like they're really strict. I'd hate to assume one measly inch wouldn't make a difference and then find out it does!

I went to a Giants game a few weeks ago and they were pretty strict with the policy. At each gate they had a area for those who brought bags too large to check them which they were sending people too. When leaving the lines were horrible for people to get their bags back. For the game I brought my mini pouchette and used my Eva strap to make it cross body. My phone iPhone 7 plus doesn't fit but I put it in a zipped jacket pocket and was fine for the game.

They don't have measuring tape at Centurylink stadium so I'm thinking none do. It's basically size that fits in a man's open hand from what I've seen in description and pictures (for wristlets). I have the ugly clear cheap plastic bag given to season ticket holders to avoid issues. There are lockers outside the stadium to pay and use when people don't know rules and hold up line. They get out of line to go to locker and get back in line eventually

We're season ticket holders for the New Orleans Saints. I usually carry my Clemence or full-size zippy wallet to the games with no problem. My iPhone 6+ fits fine in both. I carried my pouch from the Neverfull MM to one game & even though I FINALLY was allowed to take it in, I had to go through too many check points. So now I just carry a LV wallet as a clutch because it's not worth the hassle.

Hopefully you got yourself something you like & that must have been a fantastic game to be at! I had to turn it off at the end of the 3rd - needed to get up for work & all... but what a great game!
