I have a question about the NFL's bag policy and am hoping I'm not the only LV lover and diehard football fan! I haven't been to a game in a couple of years and my husband and I have some tickets this year. Just wondering what bags any ladies have brought with them and how strict they are on sizes. I was hoping to bring my Twin GM as a clutch, but see that it's slightly larger than the NFL's clutch dimensions listed on their website (which isn't even large enough to hold an iPhone!). Hopefully there are a few of you out there that have some experiences to share! Thanks!

It's been a couple of years for me too. Last time I went, I bought my mini pochette. Check on your stadium website but I believe all bags now have to be clear and see through.

In Seattle they seemed to inconsistently follow this rule. I would have loved to bring my pochette but it didn't fit within the dimensions, so I downsized my wallet and brought mini pochette. My iphone still fit in it but it was obnoxious to get it in and out so I ended up leaving it in my pocket. Go Seahawks!

I should have clarified. The bag policy states that small clutches, a one gallon clear plastic bag, or approved NFL logo merchandise are acceptable. The diagram provided has a size of 4.5" x 6.5". I don't need much, but really hate putting my phone in my pocket (for one, it doesn't really fit in women's pants pockets and I don't feel it's very secure). So am really just curious what others have experienced, realizing every stadium enforces the rules differently. Thanks for the responses so far!bag_image_v3b_1371166617.jpeg

Does an iPhone 6 fit in a mini pouchette? I don't have one, but am thinking it's probably too big. Couldn't I just stick my slightly oversized clutch in a clear plastic bag to get through the door! :biggrin:Or do they limit what can be brought in the ziploc bag?

Do you have the iPhone 6? Do you think you would have been turned away with a pochette?

It will fit iPhone 6 but weird & tight to get it out. Especially with other things inside. I've never tried the clutch inside clear bag  I think if it's slightly oversized you could swing it & get through security. Super oversized they might make you take it to the car. In Dallas they don't have a measuring station, it's just eyeballing things.

Die hard 49ers fan but I don't take any LV to the game. Why don't you get the clear cross body with your team logo on it.

I saw someone try to do this last year and it did not work for them - They still had to abide by the rules of our stadium . I'm entering my 13th year as a PSL/season ticket owner of the Carolina Panthers so I've seen all sorts of rule changes. However, the bag policy is an league wide rule. If you need to take a lot, your best best is buy the clear team bag (they have to be pretty cheap - PSL owners were given free bags the year the policy was instituted) and put your bag inside that.

I don't take a bag to games. We have an express line for fans without bags to be searched - I want to get into the stadium as quickly as possible. And so many women violate the policy as many only go to a game a season so they are not aware of the rules. I can't deal with that.

I have an iPhone 6 in a really slim case and it fits but it's annoying. I don't know if I would have been willing to risk not being allowed to take my LV in so I didn't want to risk it. My friend had to bag check her bag because it was too big. That would have given me anxiety.

I looked on the website just now (NFL shop) and the totes are all sold out for my team (Vikings). Hopefully they get more in. I really just want to bring my phone, empreinte clues as a wallet and lipgloss, but prefer something with a wrist strap or shoulder strap. I don't live in the Twin Cities metro so no local team shop that has the official team merchandise, which I think it has to be???
