I would wear a dog collar if it had diamonds on it. ;) I love all jewelry and would never turn down anything. I used to say I didn't want diamond studs because I was so worried about losing them or dropping one down the drain. But I have since changed my mind and got earrings with screw backs. I still find myself touching my ears to make sure they're still there about a dozen times a day.

I don't do pearls - they just remind me of grannies and they are too delicate for my rough lifestyle.

I don't do foot jewellery either and if you saw my feet you'd understand why.

I actually LIKE choker style necklaces best. I have a large chest so anything dangly just gets lost in the depths. Chokers with pendants hanging off or a selection of large glass beads are my faves. Even my Pandora and Troll necklaces are choker style.

I really don't like jewellery that boasts a huge initial of the brand name like one or a selection of huge Cs or Hs such as some of those from Chanel or Hermes.

Not into yellow gold either. I find it looks chavvy.

Also put off if something is exposed to death such as the key pendant, or anything princessy like crowns or bows.

I'm not into tennis bracelets or love bracelets (don't like the idea of not being able to take it off) or most bracelets in general. I am very tough on them, and find myself losing gems/jewels/crystals often from banging them around.

I can't do foot jewelry - not my thing.

Choker necklaces make me feel uncomfortable.

I love watches (I have a leather band that takes the brunt of the abuse - since watches face upwards, unlike bracelets, I am not as tough on my watches), fine jewelry, and the only costume jewelry I can stand are Chanel earrings.

I like earrings, rings, necklaces, watches, and bracelets mostly. I don't own a whole lot of bracelets though, because I have a really small wrist which makes it pretty hard for me to find bracelets that fit me well. I will occasionally wear an anklet with some sandals in the summertime, but most of them are cheaper so I don't have to worry too much if I lose one of them.

I'm not into pearls, I don't really see the beauty, and they're too conservative.

ITA! I like the sparkly stuff!:D

I'm not into brooches either. I have a very casual lifestyle and brooches seem more fashion forward or for suits.

I also don't like long necklaces. I think the longest chain I wear regular is 18". I have a strand of 100" pearls that my mom gave me. They just sit there.

I am a really casual person myself, and I just don't get into brooches at all. I've seen some really pretty ones in stores and on women, but I can't see myself ever wearing one.

I don't do the long necklaces either. All of mine are 16" and 18", as I have a thin neck and either length hangs plenty low enough for me.

I have no interest in pandora beads/bracelets (again dont shoot! i know there's a whole thread) - I totally don't get this trend and all the knock off bead jewelry. I have no idea why it's appealing!

I agree. I know that millions of people love them, but they just aren't my thing. I love bracelets, but I very much prefer traditional bangles or traditional charm bracelets.

Great thread! It's interesting to see that certain jewellery some women consider staple, others don't care for at all. For me, I'm old-fashioned so anything funky is not for me - toe ring, thumb ring, pinkie ring, anklets, multiple ear piercings and earrings etc.
