Inspired by a diamond earring thread - Is there any specific jewelry item that you have absoluely no desire for? Some people (not me!) have no interest in watches as they use their phones. Others are not earring people (me!) and others don't do rings. I use to think I would never want a tennis bracelet. I was afraid of losing it while I wore it. But after seeing some great tennis bracelets on TPF, you never know.........!

Not exactly a specific jewelry piece, but I'm not really into baroque pearls ... whether earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. They're not for me.

ITA! I think it is the imperfect look that bothers me. I know they are supposed to look like that put I cannot get past that they are imperfect to what I consider a pearl should look like.

As far as jewelery that I have no interest in, I would have to say watches just like the OP. Just not my thing, but if I were to get a gold ladies presidential with diamonds I would not turn it down ;)

Hip/hand/feet/hair-chains or whatever.. You know, those random Indian-ish looking chains? Not for me.

I like how brooches look, but I'm always afraid they'll ruin my clothes, so I never wear them.

I've tried anklets and toe rings as a kid, but I agree..they're not for me at all.
Besides that, I'm a total sucker for jewelry!

I'm not into brooches either. I have a very casual lifestyle and brooches seem more fashion forward or for suits.

I also don't like long necklaces. I think the longest chain I wear regular is 18". I have a strand of 100" pearls that my mom gave me. They just sit there.

funny thread for the jewelry forum but yet interesting

I have large ankles and anklets just make them look larger so I have no interest in them and the same for toe rings.

I do have a tennis bracelet that an old boyfriend got me, he actually got me a Cartier watch that was the ugliest thing I have ever seen and that is hard to say for a Cartier anything, he exchanged it for the bracelet which I never wear.
