Yesterday, Momtok revealed her fabulous find of a mahogany Station Bag in pristine condition. See the link below, her bag is in such perfect condition that it didn't need any rehabbing!

I had a similar experience yesterday and although it doesn't quite compare with the perfect Station Bag, I am pretty excited about my find. It is a beautiful little bag and in a gorgeous color. It is made of a wonderful material and it is in excellent condition. And I got it at a great price!

Anyone want to see my special little find?! :graucho:

Okay! Recently I purchased a British Tan Willis bag at the Savers (Value Village) Thrift Store for $25. The bag was in good contionion except for some dents and ink marks obscuring the lightly-stamped creed. I couldn't make out the creed in the store and now I think that someone had deliberately tried to hide it.

When I got it home and used eyeshadow highlights and strong light the creed revealed a known fake number and mis-spelled words!

Savers is pretty nice about letting you exchange items so I tried to take it back the other day but I didn't find anything I liked. But yesterday I found this beauty for only $20! She is in near perfect condition except that the hangtag is missing. There was even a little Coach booklet from 2001 in the pocket!

The bag is a Girlie Nappa Clip Hobo from 2003 and it is a little beauty! Here are some pics, I added the silver hangtag.

Here's a photo of the creed. Thanks to BeenBurned and Hyacinth for authenticating it.

I don't know if you can make it out but it says the bag is made of the "finest lamb nappa". The leather is incredibly soft! When I was checking out yesterday the cashier even commented "Oh my, it's so soft!"

The bag was really clean. I didn't really need to do any rehabbing so all I did was my usual "storage maintenance" of wiping it down with Lexol cleaner and then conditioner. Then I added the hangtag, stuffed it with tissue, put it in a storage bag, and set it on a shelf in my closet.

Now I have to decide wis hen to wear it! It's a small bag and I probably won't carry it often but I know that I will enjoy it whenever I do!

Very pretty! It looks so clean and new; I doubt the previous owner ever used it.

I don't think that the original owner used it much at all and she took good care of it, but she did manage to lose the hangtag. That's a shame because it had a special skinny, little hangtag in shiny silver to match the interesting "alligator clip" closure on the bag.

Oh well, it looks fine with a plain silver hangtag so I don't mind!

That is gorgeous! What an amazing find ~ Congrats!!

When I first saw the photo's I thought it was a Gucci. You have a good eye for Coach!

Thanks! Sometimes my "Coach Eyes" are a bit too good, I need to stop finding so many! I would love to find a genuine Gucci someday. Yesterday there were several bags that I was interested in - Coach, D&B, and Kate Spade; but I forced myself to buy only one bag and I am so pleased that I got this little beauty!

What a beautiful bag! I love red handbags and they're hard to find in any line of higher end bags. If it's too small for you...I love smaller bags. Just saying. LOL
