oooh. well this peeved me.

i went to tiffanys on the day i got my cartier bracelet and tried it on. and the one in the store is sooo much bigger then mine. i think mine is defective.

and they said... since its been worn they wont take it back.

and because of the way its made.. it cant be fixed.

what that's a lot of crock. how can they say that when you just bought it and obviously they know that it's tight on you, and they say they can't do anything? That's BS

Yeah.. I agree. But because I wore it. I mean.. there were a few marks on it.

But I tried on both the small and medium. and both were roomy on me. Obviously.. I got one that was somehow defective. I could slip a finger behind both the ones I tried on. Mine.. no way. no way in heck.

All I can say is that you should in no way accept this absolute bs. First, tell yourself that you will get a result no matter what. Ring your local consumer complaints service/ legal help etc. Go into the store armed with a friend/ family and be prepared to kick up a fuss that will have the whole store listening to. Make sure you speak to the absolute top person and tell them that you are a lawyer/ will get a lawyer/ will get consumer affairs involved etc. You have to make it very serious and let them know in no uncertain terms that there is no wayu you arew accepting a faulty item which is ILLEGAL for them to sell to you in the first place. Tell them that it will be a case of a refund or a replacement.

I have had very tough situations and I always get my way when I follow this plan of attack. Afterall you are in the right here.

Finally, I would find out the official length of the bracelet and use this as proof of a fault in yours. use facts rather than feelings.
Good luck!
