Same thing, I think Dakota Johnson is beautiful, but I never found her sexy even though she was in that Grey movie.
there is something to be said for being yourself rather than trying to be something you're not ....they can dress her up in risque outfits for a photo shoot but that doesn't make her sexy IMO

I think movie stars have such big egos that they can’t just be beautiful and a great actress, they have to be the funniest, sexiest, most charming, most talented of all time.
right...she has always seemed to me that she was the sweet person type...now she wants to be a sex symbol?
Is this one of those times that she's falling into the trap of trying to promote the movie by convincing people she's like the character, rather than a good actress who can pretend to be something she's not? I haven't seen the movie, but it in, isn't she supposed to be a hot older woman who has an affair with a younger man? So they're promoting it by trying to tell the world she's hot rather than telling the world she's a good actress.
This. I don't know why but ever since I first saw her in a film, she always made me think of Charlie Chaplin, Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli. She makes me think of ventriloquists, mimes and old school vaudeville. She has this strange looks where she looks both young and old at the same time.
I agree with those who don’t see Anne H as sexy but I’m trying to think of which in the current crop of well known actresses comes across as sexy. I can’t come up with any names that would take the place of old time actresses like a Sophia Loren or Marilyn Monroe.
I'd put Margot Robbie in that category. I think that she downplays it in order to be taken more seriously - and she spent a year really downplaying it for Barbie. But looking back to how she came across in Wolf of Wall Street - she's got sex appeal.
