These are the bags I am interested in. I believe they only come in these three colors but not sure? The SA in my local Gucci shop was rather useless (if very sweet). She had no clue what I was talking about, and gasped when I showed her the bags in my iphone. She says she has been working at Gucci for years. Okay, I get that for whatever reason they didn't get these bags in store, but if you work for Gucci, isn't it to be expected you have some interest in Gucci's collections? I mean, I know about them and the last Gucci bag I bough was like a decade ago...

Thanks, what a great explanation! Also with the pics. So strictly speaking the Dionysus are also animalier. Love the tiger/lion. There is a beatiful thin belt with the tiger head as clasp.

They're great, and I believe those are the only colours I've seen so far.

Not all Gucci SAs are specialists in bags though they will help you in whichever section if you're already working with them. My favourite SA is head of Men's shoes for instance and only receives specialist training for that area

Hard to say from one photo. Lots of things can be exclusives to countries, cities, even specific stores.

That's very sweet. Would you worry the bee would get stuck on something or scratch something else in your bag (if using as a pouch)?

Mmm..., if I had it I am guessing I would use it mainly on its own, I am a clutch person. Sometimes I would put my clutch in a carry-all bag if I am using one. At the time this is a vintage Gucci tote which I use for groceries. I throw veggies and shoes in there, so would not be too worried about this dainty bee I guess

I only saw this thread recently and after seeing the pics you posted, I've been thinking and having a major crush on this bag! Something about that tiger.... calling out to me.... those eyes.... hmm...
Then I realised I couldn't find it in the boutiques... past season probably? The SA said it's a new season collection (which I highly doubt). Do you know which season is this collection?

Anyways...and as I was scrolling through the Internet, found a red one and ordered it immediately! Black would have been my preferred choice...but then, just as well that it's not available since I have too many black bags already! Arriving tomorrow. Yippee.... not many bags have made me feel this excited honestly ! Gucci has the recent bengal collection but those tigers are not as alluring as this one.... can't wait to see it irl!
