Does anyone own anything from the Animalier collection? Or seen in person? Looking for thoughts? I have been specifically stalking the small bag with the leather chain online. I don't own anything like it…thanks!

^ ^^

No way of telling, no AM era bag's (or anything) gone on sale yet.

Equally, it's impossible to tell with Gucci generally what gets phased-out and what remains.

I'm surprised to not see more talk about these bags! I'm obsessed with the mini bag/WOC! Pretty sure I'll grab it in black along with the Dionysus mini bag/WOC in blooms! Love them both and can't decide so both may need to be mine! ;)

I'm really loving this collection, but have not had a chance to see any of it in person yet. I'm afraid to walk into Gucci at the moment, their new heels are also calling out to me.

Any feedback or reviews on the gorgeous animalier bags? Looking into purchasing one, but cannot find much information.
Also, are the bee bags also part of the animalier collection/concept or something else??

The 'Animalier' applies to most things with a tiger head (or two). I've got plenty of 'animalier' (2 hats and a dress) but not actually on bag. The tiger came from a variation Frida did 2010 if an older Gucci lion head motif first on an ancient Roman bracelet/bangle Gucci designed in the early 1970s (you can see the strongest correlation to the lion head design on the Dionysus).

The Bee is an icon that's come through the Flora design. The Flora, first used on a scarf was from 1966

They appear in order when I loaded them but when I post...

Gold Ancient classical bracelet (from the history blog)
Blue enamel and silver lion head bangle watch 1970s (Ebay)
Blk/Wht enamel bangle (from 1st Dibs).
Dragon head and tiger tems including belt buckles were made under Tom Ford in the mid'00s
Blk/Wht enamel FG Tiger head ring
Brass Anamalier head on ring under AM which is used on many, many things including bags, as you can see the original lions' head was also the inspiration for the Dionysus line

Thanks, what a great explanation! Also with the pics. So strictly speaking the Dionysus are also animalier. Love the tiger/lion. There is a beatiful thin belt with the tiger head as clasp.
