They are both so beautiful. I saw the Ace in person today in all the colors and tried on the burgundy. It is a really pretty bag. I'd keep it, it is not a common bag.

Thank you all! I saw so many things at the mall today in this burgundy color (I think I was spelling it wrong for all these posts...). I took another pic in the car to show that it isn't really as purple as it looked in the sun. It kindof changes from more plum to more brownish. Really pretty though! I also loved the black one - it had oxblood trim.

What a wonderful haul! :tup: I mentioned on your other post that I think nthe burgundy will go with much more than you may think initially. I agree that it's a neutral shade. Congratulations on your beautiful bags!

I saw both these bags at Coach the other day and they are gorgeous! I love that burgundy and the beautiful hardware. It's not super red; at one point I thought it was oxblood. It is a beautiful color and will look gorgeous against black, gray, navy, brown, etc. It is a very versatile color and perfect for Fall/Winter. I have a near vintage Coach bag in a similar color that I love.

Thanks everyone! I almost didn't get it because the very sweet sales woman I was working with said "it's like the old Aigner color" - I didn't ever like those bags. I think my grandma had several! I decided it is NOT like that color. :-)

It's cloudy here today and it looks more brownish. I love it in both lights!
