Yes, the borough and duffle are both brick, but it is such a beautiful rich color that I wouldn't mind keeping both :)

I do agree the pebbled leather is more durable, it really is hard to choose between the two.

The Brooklyn I got is sort of a taupe with a greenish hue. I looked at the tag, but it didn't say a color. I'm curious now what the color is called, as it's quite nice!

I was absolutely shocked at how many borough bags the outlets had received!! They had the large camel color, the medium two tone sand/oxblood and pebbled black (but they came with a really short strap so I passed). I asked an employee if they had gotten in any other colors and they said no, but went to the back to check. And brought these two out.

I spent a while in the store trying to figure out which to get, but decided to take them back home and return one. But which one? Decisions decisions!!

I picked up the brick soft borough last weekend. What a find. But, I also have the original oxblood. I think I prefer the zippers and pebbled leather better, but the soft brick was such a good deal as I recall. However, if you don't have an oxblood pebbled, I think that one looks more trendy and has more slouch.
