There are some varieties on Matches of GildaAnyone knows if the Gilda glittery mules are still available to buy? They are so gorgeous.
I see gildas on saks, NM, BG albeit sizes are very scarce. I see they are more available as I hunt for more begums.Anyone knows if the Gilda glittery mules are still available to buy? They are so gorgeous.
I’m getting alarms every morning about mytheresa and MF restocking their Begums xI see gildas on saks, NM, BG albeit sizes are very scarce. I see they are more available as I hunt for more begums.
Thanks! I have 2 of them in flight, one from BG and another from Nordstrom. And a Rosie from saks. We’ll see if they don’t get canceled.I’m getting alarms every morning about mytheresa and MF restocking their Begums x
I had a similar experience where the satin sling backs fit perfectly (1/2 size from my usual French size) but the PVC ones didn't. Now I ordered the Begum PVC pump in the same size but my heel comes out of the shoe. But they are stunning so debating keeping as half size down may squish my toes. Wish I could order size down to compare but stock just goes when it's posted! I will try to put some foot petals in to help keep my heel securely in. Saw a YouTube review that suggested this hack if it helps. Another person put sticky something on the slingback part but it's visible & don't like having to do that for such a pricey pair.So all of the pvc sling backs that I pre-ordered came after Christmas. They are all so pretty but did not fit perfectly like the satins. These are all same sizes. The Bordeaux begum is going back for sure because it is pinching on the toes. The Rosie - I’m still debating because toes fit fine but the slingback is falling off when walking. The Light Grey begum while tolerable feels could be sized up. The problem is if I exchange for a bigger size, I might have same issues as the Rosie.
Thanks! I ended up keeping just the light grey begum which I think would work ok for me. It's not the most comfortable, but so are most cinderella shoes anyway. The two others I ended up returning though (sigh).I had a similar experience where the satin sling backs fit perfectly (1/2 size from my usual French size) but the PVC ones didn't. I always accept my toes to be squished instead my heel to come out of my shoe!I had a similar experience where the satin sling backs fit perfectly (1/2 size from my usual French size) but the PVC ones didn't. Good point!! Still thinking on it! Currently the Begum clear pump is sold out in Canada & at retailers that can ship duty free so I'm tempted to keep since can't find the size down. And in the past I've totally accepted the squished toes over the heel coming out as that seemed to make more sense. However, with the material being clear PVC the squished toes would be more visible and makes the shoe less cute on my big feet haha! But def something to consider thank you for sharing!I always accept my toes to be squished instead my heel to come out of my shoe!
