Happy April my lovely tpf friends! Hope everyone is doing well.

Thought I would start our April thread and wish everyone a fantastic month, enjoy the Easter break coming up, 2nd month of Autumn or Spring wherever you may be… and as always a big Happy Birthday to our many April babies! Wishing you an fantastic birthday month that is most enjoyable and filled with lots of love, happiness and lux goodies especially LV!

I stalked the website forever for the adjustable strap to show up back in stock. I had it shipped to my local boutique and picked up the passport cover for this summer’s vaca on an impulse.

Purchased the LV x YK drop 2 OTG MM with the faces print today! I love how different and unique the print is - I think it’s so cool! The fish & potato head are embroidered on with a very soft cashmere feel , kinda like a very tight knit carpet is the best way I can describe it. Canvas is super thick but the bag is very light considering its size.
My laptop fits fine if I slot it in diagonally , it will fit if I put it in horizontally too but pushes the sides of the bag out a bit - not sure if overall the bag will loosen up a bit after some wear. Any OTG MM owners who can help shed some light? Carrying my laptop in this bag is crucial to my decision in keeping it or not, need to play around with it and test if it’ll suit my trips to the office.

This is technically a January purchase but I’m only getting my hands on it now because I bought from the UK site and only got back for a visit yesterday. Absolutely in love with it! I know plenty of people don’t like the Kusama pieces for whatever reason, but I think we can all relate to that feeling of seeing a bag and feeling like it was made for you. Love the Alma, love epi leather, love bright colours and had been considering the yellow Alma BB in particular (didn’t buy the last release because of the guitar strap though). I also love patterns and Kusama so when I saw this … !

Impressed that it fits enough for a daily bag (can take my Kindle, water bottle, coin purse and keys, maybe a couple of other things like tissues). Don’t love the skinny strap but the length is fine. Can anyone tell me what colour transfer might be like if I wear the bag with black jeans or cords? The epi leather seems pretty resistant but I’m wondering about the band at the bottom.

Also got the black/white/yellow bandeau and pumpkin square. Excited about seeing the second drop in store now!

I liked the scent! I had purposely tried the sample my CA gave me so I can evaluate if I would buy the bottle. It’s about $100 more for the flower print as compared to the normal bottle. I don’t know if it’s “worth it” to spend the additional $$ for the flower print.

I was thinking the same too. But I think it’s geared toward individuals with a vanity display. ESP considering that you can do refills, may be worth the extra funds to have the artwork on the bottle. Sure to brighten someone’s mood and incline them to use that scent more.

I love this bag! I love those designs and I love the OTG. It's definitely my favorite.

My Kusama wave 2 item is here!! I love this more than my wave 1 item. It is really cute! I didn’t remind my CA to include any packaging (I assumed she would!) and she did!!!!

I got a green pumpkin tag! At least it’s a different colour from my previous wave 1.


The pumpkin coin purse was very well crafted. However, I thought the printed side looks kinda “dry” (doesn’t reflect a sheen of light like the normal canvas side).



The interior is supposed to be leather according to the small card. It seem to have “excess” leather, popping up on the interior (which you will see the uneven shadowing in the picture below).


@fettfleck , is your coin purse “uneven” on the interior lining too? (How to best describe it - it kinda has a “bubble” in between the exterior canvas and interior lining, which can be “moved” around.)

For size comparison, I place the pumpkin gift tag on the coin purse.

The zipper pull is really pretty!!!
