Thanks everybody for your replies, I now feel 44 going on 21! Sorry I didn't get back on sooner, having trouble with server (as usual) and still can't get pictures up!
I think the only way to getting my skull bag is ebay but I would say they're all fakes on there at the moment? Will definately have to get my hands on one now though.

LV_addict - that is the very bag!
Prada psycho - fabulous!

:roflmfao: Too funny, handbag! Best giggle I've had today! :roflmfao:

So far it's not needed a sitter, since it's not left my side, but I'll give you a ring when I do. ;)

Hiya everyone

Thanks Chloe-babe, I've looked at the Browns website already and they only have the black at the moment. I live in the north west so my nearest place for bags is Manchester and of course there isn't nearly as much choice as in London (which might be a good thing!), that's why I buy from ebay quite often but only if I'm 100% sure about the seller.
If I go for the skull bag it'll be the most I've ever paid for a bag and it's a bit scary, plus it'll be really different for me - usually LV but I feel lately that I need to break out a bit and I've got that yearning feeling you get when you see what you think is your ultimate bag! My collection is LV, Chanel, Gucci - not even a Balenciaga or a Chloe! :shame:

I don't think there is an age limit but I think you should look in your closet and see what you'd wear it with - I think its a question of incorporating it into your personal style. I love that bag btw.

oh, and forgot to add. Of course you are not too old :D
fortys are the new thirties don't you know ;)
You are so right, "forties are the new thirties". You're not old for that bag. I just turned 49 and I feel like I'm in my 30's. My daughter, 23 and nieces (under age 20) love to go shopping with me because they say I'm a lot of fun but most important, I have great taste.

I'm 51 and I always get a kick when teenagers and young 20 somethings go nutso over my bags, shoes, clothes, whatever. I'm not trying to look like a kid, at all. I just pick items that look modern, but ageless and pair them with "age appropriate" clothing.

So far no one has laughed at me, so I guess I'm doing something right. :smile1:
