Am I the only one who doesn't use dust bags?

If I did there would go half of my fun which is looking at them. Plus I would probably forget what I had, or where it was, and there would be a pile of dust bags and bags on the bed every time I changed one out! I have some dustbags but I just stuff them in the bags when I'm not using them. I don't know why. I just realized I'm doing the opposite of what they are intended for..

I want to see my pretties without the hassle a dust bag brings. One of my purses must always be kept in a dust bag and that's my Valentino Bon Bon Dome Satchel. It picks up dust like nobodies business.

All in dust bags, but not the boxes. I don't want them dusty. If I was lucky enough to have a glass fronted closet, they'd be in there, free of dust bags.

I have to use them because of dust. Much as I want to display my bags in my glass door cabinet, reality is there's too much dust in my area. The dust bags indeed get dusty after some time (I can feel in my hands). So no choice! [emoji20]

I learned the hard way from ruining some very expensive bags that dust bags are a must. It's less the case if you have your bags in heavy rotation and use them frequently, more the case for long time storage purposes (protects not only from dust but also sunlight, contact with other items, temperature changes, moths, etc.)

Same! I accidentally left a bag at the back of the closet without a dust bag for a while. When I finally pulled it out it took forever to clean the dust off, it still has some dust in the creases by the seam that I can't seem to get to. I'd love to display my bags, but dust bags are life savers!

I only really place my bags into dust bags if they are not in the daily rotation (you know fall/winter bags during the spring/summer period, etc.) and that they are in storage. SLG's on the other hand are always placed in dust bags if they are not in use and well if they are in use they are usually inside my bag of choice.

The real question is what do you guys do with all of the packaging that the item comes with!

I always use dust bags since I stack my bags pretty close together, I'd hate if they rubbed and got any dye transfer. Another thing to factor in is also you never know what elements they might be exposed to. I used to have them at the back of my closet in my old apartment and the wall plaster disintegrated without my knowing. Thank goodness for dustbags!

I don't keep any of it. If I purchase in store I refuse the box and just take the dust bag and sometimes not even the paper bag. I either carry the new bag out with me with dust bag folded inside, or put it inside the bag I carried into the store.

What can I say, I like to travel light and try not to bring additional clutter into my house or contribute further to environmental waste :D
