Am I the only Betsey Johnson fan on TPF?

NO WAY! I would have LOVED to have owned a Betsey bag when I was younger, but I couldn't afford one Now I'm a little older and most of her styles feel a little too young for me, but that doesn't stop me from admiring them on the arms of funky, stylish young ladies.

I have two BJs. A weekender and a handbag. I kind of regret buying the handbag, first off, it's vinyl and sooo tacky. I guess I've phased out of the loud hot pink checkered print etc. And the weekender's handles are ripping at the seams, it's safe to say I'm disappointed with the quality.

First picture is of my Inked Up Betseyville purse (purchased at Winners), My Betseyville wallet (also from Winners and my sister has the same one in a blue and purple snakeskin print), My Betseyville cellphone case (purchased on ebay), and my Betsey Johnson cat eye sunglasses (also from Winners).

Second picture is of my absolute favourite thing my Betsey Johnson coat! I got it for a steal and I love the colour. The third picture is of the inside of the coat because its just too cool not to post a picture of! I bought it new with tags at a new/used store here!

I might also be adding a Betsey Johnson leather purse to my collection tomorrow if it is still at the store *crossing fingers*

I absolutely love Betsey Johnson bags, although it's been awhile since I've purchased one. Some of her bags are super loud, not really my style, but the few I have are surprisingly classical in style. I'll post some pics in a little

I like Betsey too! I do look at her handbags, own a couple cosmetic cases! I die for her perfume, it's my "signature scent" and I'm also into her costume jewelry!!!

I do have a hard time spending $$$ on her bags. I have kind of a punk-rock/biker chic look about me (tattoo's and pink hair) so I feel the BJ bags would be too much. I tend to do with alot of classic black leather instead but I do LOVE HER STYLE!!!

I just bought a leather and suede studded Betsey Johnson bag for $60 at a second hand store...It's missing the dust bag but I don't care. I got a brand new Betsey purse for almost 80% off I believe! It was nwt too!! I am in love with the rose print lining *dies*
They also had a lime green with pink roses dress that they just got in. It's used but it fits me perfectly. I have no idea where or if I would ever wear it though and its probably going to be priced around $100-150 so probably not going to get it unless I have a function I could wear it to.

I mentioned earlier in this thread that I'm a BJ fan and this is a picture of my much loved BJ 'Button Up' hobo...

The leather is lovely and thick and soft. I've worn this bags loads and loads, and it's holding up amazingly well - only a few tiny marks on the leather, and all of the hardwear is in perfect shape.

I think that a lot of BJ's bags are quite 'young' and I've been wondering for a while if I've grown out of the two I have. In fact, I photographed this bag to sell it on Ebay. But, you know what, I've been talking myself out of listing it all afternoon....I think it will live to fight another day

I love Betsy Johnson. Especially her clothing line---they're so colorful and distinct! I live in Canada though and the only Betsey Johnson goods I've ever seen are the bags, and although I love the style, I've found they're (at least, the ones I've come across) are REALLY heavy. And since I'm more of a functionality over style so I didn't buy them ^^

If her line ever came out in the shops here though I would be broke...haha!
