Eversince my freshman year in college (this is my junior) I have loved Betsey Johnson bags so far I have three and a two piece cosmetic set. They are decently priced and super quirky. Although some designs are straight up wacky I love the cooky unconventional aesthetic of them (well of her line period). It seems like the majority of TPFers prefer classic bags but I was wondering are there any BJ fans out there besides me? :smile1:

I can appreciate her bags. They are well made and she is so creative. However I do prefer a more classic style to carry personally. However I am glad you have found something you love and your bag identity.

I have a couple of BJ's in my collection, and I love them both. One is a 'Button Up' hobo in tan, and I'm not quite sure what the other one is called, but it's dark brown leather with lots of studs and strapping!

I like that these bags are hardy and durable - I live in Scotland and the weather can never be relied upon :rolleyes:

I love her designs ! I just wish they are a bit higher quality, but that does not stop me from loving those I have. I just ordered a clutch (I have a big bag of that style)

I don't care for her bags, but the bow clutch vesna posted is just darling! Where did you find it? I can't find it on her official site.

I have a cosmetics bag + case I picked up for $15 from Marshalls. It's just simply sparkly silver -- love it. Her Betseyville line hits too close to home to Ed Hardy though... egads, lol!

Her dresses, on the other hand, I do love! I wish I could've worn a BJ dress to my prom, but we had a length restriction!

Vinyl girl did u just say ed hardy? :supacool: i dont see the comparison (except for those darn tiger faced bags or the ones with rhinestones). like i said there are a few bad bags but overall i like the BJ line. there's sucky and good in every handbag line right? but yah the cosmetic cases are really cute i love how they come with mirrors attatched. i also like her small leather goods like this 'locked in checkbook'

I'm a big fan of Betsey bags too. They're quirky and fun and colorful. I often marvel that if I had to get rid of all my handbags except a few it would probably be my two Betsey hobos that I would keep. When I carry them the world just seems to be more fun than it usually is. Like them more than even my pricey designer bags. :faint:

^That wallet is adorable!!!! I have a cosmetics case by BJ and a couple of pieces of jewelry but no bags yet. I do like some of them but just haven't purchased any yet. I like the quirkiness of her bags, but some of them are quite over the top lol!
