Am I lucky or impulsive?

I was just randomly checking for the availability for Diane online and surfing the LV website to compare it with the Multi Pochette Accessories.
Some refreshing and clicking, suddenly I was on my way to purchasing!!!


I never had much intention to get this because it’s never ever available. I wanted to score the Diane more because it seems like a bigger size than MPA (for my many essential things, I am unable to pack light no matter how I try!).
It’s coming on Wednesday (which is 2nd day of Lunar New Year. I think I’m definitely lucky to see this available online!! Not sure if I would keep it though as I have the pillow MPA already. I definitely clicked on impulse!!

That’s at the back of my mind too. Because it’s purchased online, I can get a refund too if I decided not to keep it. If I purchase via my SA I can only do an exchange according to the local LV terms.
If I keep this I definitely can’t get the Diane already since size wise they are too similar. I haven’t seen the Diane irl so was hoping to score it via online so I could have to option of returning if I don’t like it.

I don’t know if I’m lucky (to score a unicorn) or off to a bad start spending so much money right before the Chinese New Year. I supposedly wanted to stop spending so much money this year because I took a pay-cut.

Yeah, LV's getting really expensive these days. So you don't want to be making impulse purchases.

On the other hand, congrats on scoring a unicorn, but if you see it in person and STILL have doubts, then return it.

I have the opposite problem, if I see a unicorn online, I always go "what? what? what?". Then I miss the purchase. Hahaha.

You are lucky. Especially to get the pink one. I know it’s hard to get in Singapore and I was on the list for a long time.
But if you are not 100% sure, don’t keep it. It’s too expensive to be sitting in your wardrobe.. Yes, I am talking to myself too..

If that was me, im sure its an impulse buy. As you said, you already have the pillow MP. i think the MP and diane are totally different bag. The diane will fit more than the MP and it has two detachable straps that you can interchange.

I have the MPA and love it! But am also wanting the Diane (I haven’t seen it come up online yet), I think it will hold about the same but it has a very different look than the MPA. I say wait until you see the MPA then decide or maybe get both

Few weeks ago my CA asked if I wanted the green one I told him nah…. And here I am getting the pink one! There is actually a special wording below the “notify me when available” for the pink MPA and none for green one.

I couldn’t help myself but get suck into clicking “buy” because it seems so elusive and I love pink.
I think I will do as most have suggested here to think about it when I get the bag before making any decisions yet.

I’ve been stalking the Diane for a week already. Nothing online. I saw it was available in one of the stores for two days in a row. It would be gone from store by end of the day and appeared again the second day in the same store. I wasn’t quite sure if Diane was what I wanted without seeing it irl, hence, I didn’t want my CA to help me snag it because I noticed the terms are quite different when you buy online via website and buy from a store. In Singapore, if you buy in store you can only do exchange but if you buy online you could do exchange or refund within 30 days.

I did the same as you @Jumper with the monogram pochette accessoires. I added it to my wishlist a while ago, saw that it was available in the stalking thread and placed it in my cart. I was shocked that I was able to do so. I checked out, not expecting to be able to, but the transaction went through. I immediately had buyer's remorse. I just purchased the pocket organizer a week before that so I wasn't expecting another expense. The following morning the buyer's remorse was still hitting hard so I decided I would return it. That same morning I watched a YouTube video showing how you can convert it to the MPA and it gave me pause. It will arrive tomorrow and I'll think about whether I will return it or keep it.

I’ve been watching a few videos here and there. I feel I might regret giving it up but I kinda already have an MPA and bought quite a few bags late last year.
Let’s take a look at our new purchases before thinking about returning. I like the fact that I can mod all I like at home without judgement from anyone to have a more informed decision.

I think its good that you can order it for you to see and decide whether to keep it or not. Since you have almost the same as MPA, you might end up liking the mono MPA as well. And its a good thing you can also do an exchange or return within 30days. Goodluck deciding!

I reckon let it arrive and then you can try it on and see how it goes with your wardrobe and style. If you’re then 100% sure you don’t want it then you can return. If you try it on and your unsure, then give it a few days to see how you feel. That why you won’t have regret if you return too quickly as well. It’s usually because it was an unexpected purchase so your brain is freckling out, and also because you already have one and you were originally stalking for something else. Give it time to digest, then when your head is clear you can make a decision. Don’t forget to post some pics up for us too! Good luck with your decision

I just bought the Diane and LVoe it. I had to decide between the speedy b with the pink strap and the Diane with the pink strap. I just knew right away to pick the Diane. I also have the BTP and mono MPA. Very different bags. I used my Diane yesterday and no regrets buying it!!

You are totally right about my brain freaking out for buying something that wasn’t in my plan at all. I usually register something I like/want in my head and look it up multiple times. Have some internal struggle for a while before I decide to strike it off my wanted list or want it so badly that I either go to the store or order it. This purchase happened all in but 5 minutes. Didn’t have much thought process except, “quick, quick, QUICK!!!” I have a feeling I much get too attached to the bag tomorrow if I’m able to fit all that I want in it. I had an urge with something like that with Palm Springs mini and managed to score one online. But it turned out I didn’t like playing Tetris too much and I don’t appreciate the tight fit for my things, hence, I could easily make up my mind to return that. PSM was beautiful but not a good fit for me.
