Hi All!

Just wanted to share a purchase I made to replace my Speedy B strap. I spoke with a representative from Louis Vuitton over the phone (We don't have a LV boutique where I live) and she suggested not to buy the leather straps on the LV website because it won't match my Speedy B. She offered to call me back once she talks to a repair specialist. It's been three days and she hasn't called me. The Speedy B strap is kinda awkward on me anyway, like if I wear all three one end sticks out by my neck, and if I wear just two it's not as long. Hope that wasn't confusing :sweatdrop:

So I decided to purchase a non-LV strap. And, here's a video to share about the strap that I bought. Hope this helps

I love it! Looks like a great replacement strap that will fit a lot of bags. I don't think I've seen one with the nice finished edges and glazing on the sides before (aside from LV). I have a generic strap that I purchased on E bay but the back side is unfinished rough leather so it isn't comfortable.

Thanks! I am very pleased with this purchase because the strap is nicely done. The seller has very limited of these straps, but hopefully will continue to sell them.

This is funny you said this! I actually have been using a mono strap on my mon mono speedy b. I did it one day when I was wearing a dark scarf and just haven't switched it back. I actually love the look too. I've done it in the past when I wore my speedy b 35. I don't know why they made the straps like they did for the bandouliere but slightly awkward too! I had long hair that got caught in the buckles until I chopped it short lol

Yes, I thought that might be the case. However looking at the measurements the LV strap appears to be the same dimensions as the Mcraft strap (which I think is described as being 0.7 inch wide and up to 47 inches long). The LV strap is stated as being 16mm, which is 0.7", and is 46.5" long.

I would be interested to know exactly how wide the Mcraft strap is in real life, and if the measurements in the listing are accurate.

Almost the same measurements then. Don't know why the person I spoke with would say that it wouldn't match. But at least I didn't have to spend $300! Lol.
