I have had it since I was mid 20, I wouldn’t think it will age you. But, it definitely more on mature look than the other two. I wear mostly jeans and t-shirt, I think the bag goes well with everything.

It’s my first Epi product, and it makes me want to get most things in Epi. Leather feels indestructible.

Wow it looks flawless, I seriously did not think it was more than a year old ! How has the silver hardware been- any signs of tarnishing/ scratches especially on the lock/ zipper?

Once you have used the Epi you may decide you have gotten used to the experience of using the bag and can get a BB in a different print to mix things up.

Yeah exactly, I prefer something lowkey without it being too flashy or in your face (altho I have a soft spot for the felicie pochette, I would probably get it in mono since it's a small piece) so I was thinking more epi than canvas.

Great point on the bag charms and twillies- I didn't think of that haha, appreciate it !

I actually never pay attention. I went to check and see some tarnished hardware where it’s touching the leather. It’s so small tho can barely see it. I have some loose thread where the hardware touching the leather as well. I can definitely cut it easily but never really spend time doing it lol

I try to make photos with me phone so not really good quality, sorry for that

Thanks I totally agree! It's even nicer IRL and I didn't take the pic with the clochette or lock on it-even nicer with those accessories on it- but be aware it's small-ish but not too small. It fits a decent amount of stuff for its petite size.
Good luck with choosing and please post pics of what you picked- I don't envy you-it's so hard to choose :smile:

Epi 100%... I think it really enhances the bag's shape in some way. I don't think it will be as worry-free as DE though just because I notice scratches on epi bags when I'm out and about but almost never see that on DE bags. Why do you say the resale value is lower? I would've considered all 3 patterns to be classics!

I was close to buying an epi Alma myself but went for a Lady Dior instead last minute. I think the epi Alma is so classy and cute at the same time... as well as versatile. You may get tired of an LV print one day... I doubt you'll get tired of black. I hardly wear my DE purses purchased years ago and had gotten rid of all my mono even before that.

If you already have DE or Monogram print, then pick EPI, I love epi but price-wise is higher. I have Alma BB in Monogram, it's so cute. I love it. I used to carry it in the summertime.

It's been said that the resell value of the epi isn't as good as that of DE or monogram because the canvas prints are much more popular (they signal LV very easily and are iconic of the brand). Supply and demand i suppose, but to me I'm looking for a forever bag that can be dressed up/ down and won't date, so price isn't a concern. :)

I'm a one and done sort of gal haha

If any one of you had to choose between the Alma bb and let’s say one of ysl’s new puffer bag trends, which one would you go for?
Although I know one is trendy-ish and the other is classic, they’re both so beautiful, it’s hard to choose!
