Yes small bags are really so in and they are so cute and easier to carry and a big plus when doing grocery and travelling.

i think you ought to get what makes you happy. i've seen larger women look great with little bags and little women rock huge bags - it's all about personal preference and your own personal style.

Just try it. I think it suits some women better than others. I was at LV when I saw a lady buy a nano speedy. It was so cute, I asked to try one on too. I lookes like a giant wearing human clothes. Like the Hulk. I am tall and thick and this lady was very petite. But I have a friend that is 6 feet tall, and she rocks the bags but the GM looks like it swallows her up. She has a very willowy rail thin build though.

I agree!

Rocking a bag is all about confidence, not the size of you or your bag. Buy and wear what you love and makes you happy!

+1 Buy the bag you like, not the bag other people like for you. I'm quite heavy myself and I love wearing my tiny chanel woc just as much as I love my gm neverfull. My bags, my body, my choice.

Try it on at the boutique if you can and see if you like it.

Personally, I’m a petite person and love big bags! Some people say they are overwhelming on my frame but I love them regardless. (Of course, I love my smaller bags too…)

What matters is if you feel comfortable with it and love it.

Girl, go get your Alma BB... Sounds like you just gave all the reasons why it would suit your needs. As others have stated, confidence is key. I used to feel exactly as you do about a smaller bag on a bigger frame but I quickly laid that burden by the wayside and I'm glad I did. Smaller bags are the thing right now and being hands free is golden. So, go get your bag!...Rock your bag!.. And be happy!!! Life's too short to do anything less.

Hold the phone. You're calling yourself heavy? I find it hard to believe :) I'm 172 cm and 65 kg and consider myself rather fit.

I did, however, find the best was a bit oddly small on me. I felt like shrek carrying a children's handbag.

They're super cute, but I actually feel the awkwardness had more to do with my height and overall style. I think they're cutest with petite frames and feminine styles, though maybe I'm being closed minded. As a shoulder bag, it worked OK, but it wasn't a great hit. I have the same with speedy 25.

I do love my alma PM!
