I thought this might be interesting:

A recent survey ranking celebrities in terms of their appeal for use in advertising showed that some of the more interesting names were not mega-stars like Sandra Bullock or Will Smith but lesser known lights such as Alexander Skarsgard of HBO’s True Blood and Kirsten Vangsness of Criminal Minds: They have low awareness among the general public but high appeal — making them cheap to hire for commercials yet highly effective in terms of getting into consumer brains. (Think about Progressive’s Flo — an unknown before she was cast in the insurer’s campaign but now the backbone of that brand.)
In that vein, YouTube provides a proving ground for fresh new stars to show they can command an audience and hold your attention for 30 seconds or more. These 10 YouTube favorites are relative “unknowns,” but only in the sense that they don’t regularly appear on TV or in the tabloids. Some of them have tens of millions of fans online — far more than many TV shows.
They’re ready to be co-opted by Madison Avenue, and probably come a lot cheaper than Jennifer Aniston or Brooke Shields

^Nicely put, True.:D

Finally some HQs of the Vogue editorial:

Loving these pics!

Gosh! All the American press makes such a drama out of J.Lo's wardrobe malfunction. No one cared here. I mean it's silly, the guy of Jackass, Ryan Dunn died today. They should see some kind of relativity there.

Hey all, thanks for the shout outs. I envy those of you who are Stockholm bound. I'd just buy a ticket to camp out in a Sodermalm cafe and stare at all the beautiful Swedish men, Skarsgard or no. I'm sad he's about ready to leave Los Angeles for the summer so now I have no shot of running into him randomly: Premiere's don't count. Every time I'm in West Hollywood or Beverly Hills, I mutter the following prayer: "I wish I may, I wish I might see Alex Skarsgard tonight."

Squirrel, I see you are reading my mind as to why I'd like to see Alex work with Bertolucci...Loved The Dreamers and think about the kinds of scenes we'd get with the man who conjured up "Little Buddha" & "Last Tango in Paris" and our Swede who "loves getting naked." I swear there must be at least one, lingering shot of a naked man's behind in every film that he makes. Rwrrrrr

Thanks for this VampFan - well, boo. Although if Jason Momoa from GOT would indulge the fans with more shirtlessness, that might make up for it...

Double yay! Season 1 Eric! "Can't handle one little girl, Bill?...Man up, my friend, she's not even one night old"

In my mind, I'm already there...sadly only in spirit. But you guys will have a great time, Skars or no Skars, soaking in the Stockholm sights. Plus you have natives on hand to ensure.

Mme. D'Aulnoy, I'd also like to see him work with Bertolucci - I loved Sheltering Sky (ok, no one else did, but I did) - it was gorgeous. Or maybe he could remake The Dreamers again. Obviously I want someone's clothes off...

Oh.My.God!!! I just realized what you guys talking about. I didn't know that The Dreamers was by Bertolucci. I loved that movie. Loved it!!! Now I'm totally Team Bertolucci. I want Alex in a Bertolucci movie as well.
How often can you say Bertolucci in one post? :p
