Stealing?..no doubt. He wasn't giving them freely, i'll bet. I seriously doubt it happened at all.

Do we know for sure they were even at the same restaurant? Maybe his presence there was via remote video, since it was so crowded with all the bigwigs there for the "launch" of Crapmint. Maybe they saved all the beer can tabs for Kate so she can start on her Fall Collection.

Oh, he was there. There are pictures of him at the event with one of their Straw Dogs co-stars. But it was not the launch of Crapmint. That is a PR spin. Crapmint launced last year in October, I think. First, it was a Nylon promo party. Then it was an intimate dinner with friends. Then, it was an intimate dinner with Alex and here parents, then it was a Crapmint launch party...who knows what it will be tomorrow. This is just sloppy PR work. Goodness.

What were the highs and lows of filming Beyond The Pole in the Arctic?
The highs were filming on floating ice, then going back to the same location a few hours later and seeing the landscape had completely changed. I thought: ‘I’ll never come back here again and who knows if it will even be here in 50 years?’
The lows were having to watch out for walruses. They jump out of the ice, dig their tusks in you and suck your guts out – that’s how they kill seals.
There’s a video of your co-star Alexander Skarsgård, who’s now in True Blood, taking his top off and biting your bum – was that a highlight?
He wasn’t famous then and we were stranded up there for 11 days. We all got drunk in a shack, I sang It’s A Kind of Magic and he did what he did. It ended up on YouTube and about 500,000 people saw it. I haven’t even watched True Blood. I still don’t really know who he is.
Can he get you a job as a sexy vampire?
We’re not in touch. I had to do four sex scenes on Valentine’s Day for a new series I’m doing. It was horrendous. I hate all that stuff. I don’t want to be a sexy vampire or a sexy anything.
I starved myself for a week and did loads of press-ups to prepare but then I stopped. I’m a happily married man with two children, I don’t need to do all that.

I can't remember, is that video officially on the DVD or is it just wandering around the internet?

I don't think so. He says we're not in touch and he wasn't famous then. I feel he is being very frank.

I do think Rhys saying I still don’t really know who he is is meant to be a joke.

What I find interesting is Rhys could have gave an explanation for Alex's antics in the video buy the chose not to. He clarifies what he was doing but not Alex.
