After my Coach hiatus...today I bought this

I asked Coach and they said that it is no really 'jumbo', it is largest of the Edies. At first I thought it meant it was going to be so big that I could climb into it...ahhahah

All this crazy sizing with the Edies is going to make ordering like going into a Starbucks. I'll have a Venti Edie... no wait, a Grande Edie.

It's not the largest of the edies if you compare it to the older model with the horse and carriage on the front. I think it's more narrow than even the pink ruby edie I bought in April. I definitely would not call it jumbo. Check it out in person. I think they are confusing people who see jumbo online. This bag is definitely not jumbo.

They call it jumbo because of the large whiplash. Like jumbo size whiplash.

Do you know why this Edie is called Jumbo?
Answering my own question, the handles are longer. Bag dimensions appear the same!

My SA said that the term jumbo is referring to the Jumbo Whiplash, not the size of the bag.

After my break from Coach, I stopped in today. I was planning to check out the new whipstitch edie in the green color, but ended up with this. I've been carrying my black Coach bag I received for Christmas since Christmas, and I'm really usually not even into black bags, nor gold, but this detail....I couldn't resist.
