ADVICE/OPINION NEEDED: Worth the invest? Very used bag.

I have an eye on this vintage piece.
It would be sold for 2.000 EUR (sold with dustbag and card?. I am thinking about to get it and bring it to a bag spa.
I have no idea how much this would cost at all. Do u have any ideas?
Also its one of those styles where the hardware is gold plated.
But I cant see if its lambskin or caviar as it is obviously very used.

Whats ur opinion/advice?
Any ideas about the cost?
Do u have experiences with a bag spa?
How is it possible to refresh the hardware as well?

I am from Germany and maybe u can recommend a bag spa.

I would NOT recommend purchasing this. I think 2K EU is extremely optimistic and outrageous ask for this bag. Just as a side observation, but I am no expert, so I could be wrong, parts look poorly painted.

Agree with the others, I'd pass.

I was able to find a 2003/2004 CF, black, gold hdw (gold plated as well) for $3400 USD (including tax and shipping was free) for very good condition.

Mine had a little worn down gold hdw on the lock and a bit on the chain. Maybe the leather interwoven in the chain was a bit worn but other than that, almost no wear on edges and corners and the leather was a little dry.

2000 Euros = $2170 USD, which is basically 2/3 of the price of mine but for what I consider to be fair or poor condition.

It looks to be already had been retouched in some places, and it’s worn down, if this is the outside, what is it like on inside? It looks to much high maintenance. Invest in better condition or a black leather bag. I have a White vintage one like this, and it’s been repainted and lining is all coming apart now too, not worth the upkeep as it’s disintegrating. Better off getting a better condition bag to enjoy.
